you have played this game too much when you start hallucinating your little sister is an X

when you start rolling around and chucking things at sick people because you think that they have the X.

you know the exact location of every bomb, energy, and missile upgrade.......

you decide to cover yourself in green, purple, or blue slime and run into a store and say "The X has GOT ME!!!"....

you pay $1,000,000 to get Samus's autograph but to late realize that she is not a real person....

you bring a loaded gun to bed with you trying to kill the X parasites that are in your dreams....

-you beat it 30 times (ive played it too much)

-when you get pissed when you beat the game under 2 hour but get 100% collection rate

Well, i gotta say, My sister is an X and i can't beat the game now without getting 100% under two hours. And by the way, beating it only 30 times happened about two months ago.....

MINE:

-going into the basement includes rolling into a ball and dropping cherry bombs...

-you find yourself the unfortunate victim of fugues, and you wake up when a cop comes to the door asking for a "Samus Aran" who supposedly terrorized the city the night before...

-little green men are not a problem, and you talk to them all the time. It's the occasional Space Pirate and X parasite that send you to the phone booth crying, "One sec, lemme get the gravity suit on!!"

-you try to roll into a blocked vent to lay a bomb to clear the passage from caught X parasites, but you can't seem to fit...

-You run to the top of a building, and jump off, expecting the space jump boots to kick in any second...

-after one of your fugues you find the cat in a pile of ashes, your parents cowering in a corner, and your best friend shaking uncontrolably and mumbling something about "plasma beam......wonder...what that....meant...."

u play too much metroid fusion when u make your own power suitand walk around the house holding your right arm blaster and constantly rying to curl up into the morph ball and make paper mache` models of the bosses and try to kill them and when you dream that you are Samus and are on SR388
im doing all of that, seriously. Actually everything that everyone has posted on this thread i have done at least once, either in reality or in a dream

when you turn your car into a homemade version of Samus' ship and attempt to fly around in it.

when you jump of a cliff and try to use the space ball ability

When you try to "teleport" into ur car.
When you try to jump with sparks around you.
When you try to jump in midair.

When you start breathing like DartH Vader.
