I would say maybe just some plain color, maybe a black or grey, on the far sides, here. I am not the best with matching colors, but that should help a little in my opinion.

If I add color where you suggested it will most likely be black, and i dont like everything to black so i just left it as white

Hey! I am an intermediately skilled HTML'r...I hope. I designed the template to my neohome a few months ago, I am planning on switching things up, including the layout, but I'd like to see what all of you think of the color scheme, took me awhile to figure that out and the theme itself. I know there are a lot of R&B haters out there, try and ignore that if you don't like MJB but otherwise I'd appreciate some general feedback. Thanks.

Not bad, but if I were you I'd remove the cursor style. It's lame and pointless in my opinion. The text in your NeoHome is white, and the background image is a dark colour, which is good, however, if somebody's browser can't load images or the background image is not found, nobody will be able to read any of the text in your NeoHome, so I suggest that you set a background color as well so if the image isn't found the text is still readable. I suggest you use #9d9185 for the background colour because that is the bg's image colour. There won't be a big difference in the look if the bg image isn't found and you use that colour.

My being color-blind might also have something to do with it. =/

Either way, it's still an awfully bright color. It could be toned down a bit.

In your CSS, add the following:

.fl {
float: left
}

Then in the code for any avatars of other members, put class="fl" in them and it will look far better IMO. Btw, it's not fully finished and I've got a lot of CSS editing to do still, but comments on how my Neohome generally looks would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that you're using mostly IE to create your neohome? You should download firefox and take a look on it there, it's a bit messed up.

I'm so glad this forum is here now...

Anyway, I just changed my layout again. I kept the scrollbar colors the same to see if I should leave them as is. Any suggestions on new scrollbar/link effects? Oh yeah, I have IE, so best to view it in that.

Ok, you need a more universal background because that image won't display in my Firefox, and also because of my screen dimensions the Neohome actually displays right slap bang on top of the advert.

Nah, it looks like she's using CSS to place it over her entire NeoHome but not actually in it. It's technically against the rules, but I wont tell.

It's a nice simple NeoHome and your coding is impressive.
