Avatar: The Burning Earth from THQ continues the hero Aang’s fight against the evil Fire Nation in his war-torn world. Based on the second season of the animated series Avatar, players will join Aang and his pals as they master thier skills, defend their city, and restore balance to the greatest Earth Kingdom city - all the while hoping to destroy their enemies once and for all.

A sequel to the game Avatar: The Last Airbender, this is the second time the popular Nickelodeon series has been turned into a video game. It will be available in late Fall for the PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii consoles as well as the Nintendo DS and Gameboy. Here are some features that have been added to the sequel:

* Multi Player Action – Play alone or with a friend as Aang, Katara, Sokka, and for the first time Toph or Jet, as you battle enemies, solve puzzles or go on adventures to defeat the evil Fire Nation.
* Firebending – Experience the brand-new firebending moves while playing as Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh.
* Flying Levels – Control Momo and Appa in dramatic air battles.
* All-New Arena Combat – Play as a variety of characters for intense fighting action.

what is the REAL release date, many sites give out many different dates. Can anybody get info on the differences between DS and 360 apart from price, becuase I cant decide between the 2 versions?

Do you actually get to learn the other bending styles with Aang in this game? That was one of the things that made me mad in the last one, no actual development was made with the characters, they had a limit set of moves, and ones you reached a certain point, you couldn't do anymore leveling up on those moves.

In this game your SEARCHING for an EarthBending trainer, so i dont think you learn earth skills, and you dont have water skills, only air! Not sure how youg et points, but you can upgrade your moves. You can put points into Combo, Special or Range. For example, with Katara if you put points into..

Combo: Your regular attack will bring enemies closer
Special: Your special move will be more powerful
Range: Your range move will be wider and stronger
