Was A Prequel A Good Idea?

I'm all for prequels, but i think sometimes the background is best left unclear? What do you think?

Its a good series so an extra game always works. They could of weent cheap and made a horrible game just so people can by another SH game, but it was a really good game. I wouldn't mind if they made another prequel showing a different way it could of happened. As long as its good.

I wouldn't worry about this prequel, as it doesn't answer that many questions in the first place.

Yeah, I agree some things are better left hazy. I think the main characters should have more connection though. so Travis helped out "little miss Morbid"? Then he left all willy Nilly? I didn't see his true connection to anything by games end. I would've liked to see a current character tie in more nicely instead of a stranger just passing through.

re: Was A Prequel A Good Idea?

To be honest, it's a lot better that Travis wasn't directly connected tot eh main cult storyline. Having his own personal demons and occasionally helping Alessa was good enough, because then they'd have to explain why Travis has never been mentioned in any other SH...and that makes plotholes. Both endings of the game perfectly can explain what happened to Travis and we can leave it at that.

I liked this game, but it didn't answer anything, it was simply a field trip to SH for a day for fans.
I'd have preferred if they had remade the original tbh.
