	Log in to remove this sponsored message I was talking to my buddy on x-fire and I noticed that information dialog box said he was on a server. It had the U.S. Flag and it had an ip address next to it, stating that he was currently online playing on a server. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a screen-shot and the server notice vanished. I believe that RE will come out with DLC that will implement co-op for the ps3 and xbox 360, and the PC will get a patch. Take my word for it, I have no reason to lie to the Prototype community. What I do know is that RE has left most of the net-code by what I have just seen on x-fire. Modders will be able to easily add a multiplayer function to the game. UPDATE! Found it again! UPDATE: If any of you know how to configure the ini, or open the developers console for prototype, I'm sure we can get co-op to work. just type connect (ip address). I'm not sure on how to do this though, if anyone is smart enough to figure it out though post here. You may need to use hamachi as well. I'm not sure if this will work, but every game uses a dev console, and one of the most basic commands for multiplayer is the "connect". If RE experimented or even played multi-player on prototype, then a dev console would be implemented, and the connect command would work.

	I'm excited, because if x-fire can detect the server ip, then it should be fairly easy to get a co-op game going and the server to interact. However, the only thing that could be a problem is everything inside the game. The client can connect to the host, but we don't know how complete the experience is. For example, communication could be non-existant, or the second player might not even join the game at all. Who knows how far they were into the multiplayer before they scraped it.

	I'd pay €20 for online coop. I'm serious. I'm just wondering if the game would start lagging though, imagine the processing power needed when you both do a Devastator in a crowded area :S

	you are obviously seeing that because co-op was going to be in the game to start with and then was scrapped, as stated before. but just because they left the coding there doesn't necessarily mean that they will make a DLC for it. it was probably just easier to let it be. the game doesn't seem like one that work well with co-op and i'm actually glad they scrapped it. a lot of games try to force multiplayer into games now just because they can when they really don't work well.

	If they do implement co-op, hopefully they can also work out some type of multiplayer action... It has a possibility of making some interesting multiplayer games... -------------------

	it might lag a bit but think of it one person playing as mercer and the other as heller and them two ether working togther or agenst each other because nothing can match you normally is it might just add some callenge that isnt stupid like the final boss of prototype

	If they do have a patch or dlc that will allow for multiplayer or co op imo its too late really i haven't played the game in years -------------------
