i haveing problems with my vista computer online, my both xp laptop can join propley over the network and over the internet, but there isnt any network or internet comeing in or out of my vista computer ive disabled the firewall and still doesnt work and the router firewall is ok aswell

Is your PC the only one that uses the router ? Maybe your computer needs Hamachi to connect, strange though because your two laptops don't and I assume they are part of the same network.

mine stills says unable to connect to server what do i do

the laptops and pc are connected to the same router, well before i could file sharing with the laptops and the pc but i cant now so maybe that is the problem connect over the network

Have you tried using one of the laptops as host?

Also: Gone through all that?

It is possible that you cannot play online because your firewall is preventing you from doing so, in this case you could disable your firewall and then see (test) if FM works via Online play. Also relating to your firewall, it is possible to �forward� ports on your router to enable FM to communicate, please note, there are many different types of modems/routers out there on the market and they all function differently too, however, if you require some more information about Port Forwarding, then please visit the following website : www.portforward.com/routers.htm and look for your modem in the list. The ports that require forwarding are 10093 and 10094. (Please consult your Modem/Router manual if unsure. It is your own responsibility to forward ports).

Does Hamachi definately work on FM08... has anyone started a game through Hamachi because whenever I try it doesn't show in local server.

It definitely does, but from my experiences it never shows in the local server. It appears that you have to type in the IP your trying to connect to manually by clicking on "join other server" in the bottom right/left of the screen.

But then are you connected by Hamachi or just normally through FM like you would be without Hamachi.

Still connected via Hamachi. Weird I know, but if you're not connected through Hamachi for some people, it won't work.

Anybody had success with the patch trying to load a NG ? I've just tried and it won't work at all, only with the patch this happens.

Hmm, me and my mate have done a season in our network game no problems, with patch. Villa and Newcastle ftw!!

Hi, in my network game my friend got disconnected and so I took control of him to press continue once (in hindsight Force Continue may have worked just as well). Now, when we load the game I have control on his team and I cannot seem to disconnect from his team.

Any ideas?

Me and my friend have started a network game. I am the host and the game has been saved, but when he tries to join the game he comes up as a new client and he cannot take control of his team, he can't even take control his preview manager. His status says not conected and the new client is conected. The network is working fine. I am not using a router.
Any ideas?
