Saints Row 2 Myths

So many myths are held in Saints Row 2, why is Jason Voorhees mask near a lake? Why is there a sea creature called Mehrman? I've found alot of information after searching around the lake. There are warning signs posted on the gates. Any information will be much appreciated.

where exactly is the mask and this "mysterious creature called merman" i think is a merman lol. Is there a certain ally he is in or just random spawn?

There is at least one "sea monster", there's one that swims in a circle near the "Super Secret Area"/"Volition Oasis" secret area.
However, it doesn't look like the "Merhman" on the billboard, and there's nothing to indicate that this is actually "Merhman".

The Zombie outside of the minigame smells like a paddock full of cattle.

ive being searching all week in every suggested location and i either saw the mehrman twice or i saw the mehrman as you lot describe and as the one on the billboard on the small island north of the map!



But ive never EVER seen the zobie and im always down the alleyways!

theres a HOCKEYMASK near the other side of some weird shack!!! people say when u pick it up it TURNS into a skull! i did it and it did! then when u throw it in the pool of TOXICWASTE 3 or 2 dead bodies float up to the top.i think it only works when theres knowone around. idk. but then.......JASON TRYIED TO KILL ME!!!! HE POPED OUT WITH HIS BLOODY MASK WITH A CHAINSAW!!!!!!!! I USED MY ROCKET LAUNCHER 7 TIMES ON HIM!!!!!! i think u do this only once. i think it happends on 15th. thats when i did it...i was like oh my god!
