Okay, I think everyone knows by now that we have confirmation on these flyables. If not, welcome to the next gen of gaming!

Seriously, what are your thoughts? Krunal postes what little information is available about the game in the Information thread. Among that are screens, two of which show the main character brandishing an RPG against a huge plane landing on a runway, and another one showing the main character piloting what looks like an Apache Military helicopter. I am going to take this as a sign that these two vehicles, among others, will be ones you can jack and fly.

Thoughts?

But yeah it's good to see that SR2 has included planes/helicopters in the game.

I am hoping that, since GTA IV is changing gears, that SR2 is going to sort of pick up where San Andreas left off. This way we have the best of both worlds.

Which is precisely what I was talking about. We already know we're getting planes. I would be willing to bet that other previous GTA features that Rockstar is abandoning are going to be in SR2, like the Forgive & Foorget Confessional (like Pay 'n' Sprays) and who knows what else.

I thought you were talking about the opposite

But yeah.
Would be interesting to see the new Airbus super plane included in the game. Although i doubt it will be.
Actually now that i think about it, that was one of my favourite things to do in GTA:SA ; fly planes. and they also had a good selection of planes which was nice.

lol Funny you should mention that. The radio skits and commercials in SR were overall very poorly written, but the Freckle Bitches commercials were very funny.

I wonder what planes they will include?
Hopefully a boeing.
Or whatever those huge planes are called.

There is definitely some kind of a WWII type fighter plane. You can see it barnstorming between some buildings near the end of the trailer poking gun of GTA IV.

If they have that then i reckon they would have a rather large range of planes...

Awesome. Atlast, some actual sandbox game planes on a next gen system.

Yeah, it's great that they're in, but the only one I've seen so far looks like an old WW2 fighter plane. I'm really hoping something like the Hydra from San Andreas makes an appearance.

I hope that sleek plane from SA is in the game. I forgot the name of the plane, but its found in the Venturas airport.
