Simple enough question. What music, if any, do you listen to when you play? In-game music? iPod? CD? mp3 player?

I usually make A mish-mash of all my music. Mostly Johnathan Coulton, some Jet Set Radio Future, Handlebars by Flobots, some Death Cab for Cutie, Mitch Hedberg for comic relief, and some Tool for the big fights.

but to answer your question (which confuses as to whether its about online or not, but i'll asnswer for both) I like listening to the in-game IPOD music such as Calling To The Night (shut up its a great song), Old L.A. 2040, The Best Is Yet To Come, MGS4 Love Theme, and of course Boktai 2 Theme (what? its a good game)

As for the online portion of the game i like Rex Vs Ray song, its just a badass song (even though it has no words)

Online I listen to the MGS1 theme. It makes the games so much more tense

ultimate pump up song for me is thank you for the venom by MCR because the chorus say "your running after something that youll never kill". transfer that into MGO and you have a damn good time lol

None. When I play I prefer Silence or have my headset on. If I play with no music it means I can hear peoples footsteps which can prove vital. Silence in a stealth game > Silence

i listen to children of bodom or amon amarth. epic celtic metal for sure. in fact any game where im in battle i gotta have it. except nina gaiden the kill bill sound track worked there. and before people go wondering why i have that its because i dj for a living and use a lot of samples so i have everything 36000 songs plus. 137 days of straight music with never repeating a song. WOOT!

I listen to the in game music for MGO. The Screaming Mantis, Vamp and REX VS RAY themes are my favourites

bach is totally classic styled, but i dont think bodom is death metal way more black metal. death metal is like slayer. black metal is like slayer and bach had a baby. musically technical and very epic, but hard and edgy aswell.

ya lol, but it definately makes it easier for someone who is unfamiliar with the genre to understand.
