i cant wait to be playin as Snake in the online. Octocamo on a wall in the dark...someone walks past not knowin ur there..u come up behind and get him in a CQC hold, then do your judo to choke him on the floor... then someone else comes along as the MKII and zaps someone else! CANT WAIT!!!!! (sorry if its too long)

somehow i dont think snake will be a playable character here. I think we play as ordinary soldiers from the PMCs.

In some still shots, it shows Old Snake as a playable character. Maybe it will be restricted to team captains.

no u can actually play as snake.....download the kojima progress report on the konami homepage. i think its ryan payton..he talks about playing as snake in the online.

from what ive seen, there is a mode called sneaking mission where PMC's are trying to kill eachother and snake (solo), also, i think two people will be playing as snake, ive seen gameplay with someone as the MkII and someone as snake, together they have to get three dog tags

Yeah that's right. MKII works as a sort of scout for Snake. Or just the pitbull who does all the work.

I missed out on BETA, i can't believe it.

Play Call of Duty 4 online. That was basically it only in third person and Metal Gear maps. Thats not how it was intended, oh no. Online was meant to be a stealthy affair, broken up by small gun fights if you were seen. Almost everyone who played went full on run-n-gun, so stealth was all but abandoned.

Don't get me wrong, I loved it, its just that no one played it like a Metal Gear game. They treated it like any old FPS.

and i think thats why us MGS gamers kicked so much ass
