Yeah it took my about 20 goes to get that one. Its all about slipstreaming.

You know what that is i hope? Its like you have to be behind a car so the wind doesnt create any resistance to slow you down and you accelerate faster. If that makes any sence?
You should infact be able to hear the difference.

At speed on that event race behind a car then move over so you are no longer behind it, you should hear the wind pick up, you want to prevent this.

I cant get gold on c-3, can only get silver. That car is wank lol

Think it may be best to wait until tuning is unlocked and go back and do it. Slipstreaming is the key but sometimes the leader can just be that extra second in front of you at the end and screws it up.

From what I understand from the in-game manual, the tuning option is unlocked after completing all events in class A,B and C. And for me to do that, I need to complete this event. Vicious circle.

Once I complete this event i'm onto the class A events

Well complete only means a 3rd place finish or better, so you could unlock the tuning and then try to get gold.
Not sure if it requires an unmodified version of the car though?

That's the problem, I can't even finish 3rd, the best I can do is 6th position. It's quite tricky and i'm starting to run out of ideas

This one was a tough one for me as well. I done it by lowering the traction control which somehow made it a lot easier in catching the cars and getting 3rd palce.

My God it worked! I turned the TC off all together and managed to get a third place finish. I'm now on the Class A events. Thanks for the advice Gnels!

Im on class A but want to get gold on all the other class races. I'm finding it hard to do the Cappuccino Event best i'm second , And the GTR Event best is 3rd. Is also struggling to get gold on the London Race.

Any help is appreciated.

The first to you mention are impossible until tuning which I presume you will be allowed to do to help you get gold. The London is pretty simple. Get something that is good at cornering but also fast. I done it in the Impreza.

For the London event, I used the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR '07. Managed to get a gold with it.

And like Gnels said, the first two you mentioned are near impossible to gain gold until tuning is unlocked. This will happen when you have completed class A

Cheers. The thing about the London event is that i have a good car but the car in first always seems to build a good margin between me. By the time i pass the rest of the cars he has basically won the race.

Giving it another go now and shall see how i get on.

The best advice I can give is to turn all driver aids off, TCM, ASM, etc. You'll get an extra second off your lap time that way. As for the C class Suzuki Cappacino time trail challenge, I managed to get silver quite easily, gold is a swine to get though. I managed a time of 1.39.835, and that was a perfect lap. How i'm expected to shave off another 8 tenths of my lap time i'll never know........
