Phew. So I'm not the only one who noticed how bad the graphics looked? I was very impressed with the screens when the first batch was revealed last year, but lately I haven't been as impressed. They actually seem to have gotten worse.

There's a VAST difference between the screens released last year and the screens released now:
Last year ... now.
Alot of people on Kotaku (including Kotaku itself) noticed it too, so I'm glad it's not just me.

Here's hoping they get fixed up before release. *crosses fingers*

hmm, you are right in that of the images. But as long as the game ends up good and i get my scares im ok with it.

Well, to be completely fair, sometimes screenshots and even video captures don't do a game justice compared to how the graphics appear in real life on a real TV screen.
And in my opinion, they don't look that terrible so far, but that's just me.
In either case, as Polver said, as long as I get my scares, I'm good with it.

Like I wasn't dreading this game enough before T_T. Now not only is it not being developed by Team Silent, it has bad graphics aswell. Way to ruin one of my favourite game series The Collective.

And on top of crap graphics and a new (awful) design team, they change the lead character from a civilian to a trained soldier.

Pyramid Head returning is a good thing at least. I always loved PH in SH2 (My favourite of all the Silent hills) But I can only hope he has the same purpose as last time so that he isn't just there as fan-service.
