WAY too many blast shards? and hard mode, no help just discussion

So just got my plat a few hours ago, and found all 350 shards without a guide or any assistance, which usally i dnt have the patients to sit through 100 items let alone 350!!!!!! i really dnt know how i did it tbh, especially since you had no way to track how many you had 4 each island

but point being 350 were way too much? Am I the only 1 to think that? I really hope infamous 2 dnt have that many of whatever bc that sh** is tedious and time consuming.

Also hard mode is pretty easily navigated until KESSLER i was suprised he was such a bitch considering SASHA and ALDEN were a sinch essentially, but finally got him after the upteenth time

Kesslers lightening throw blockable, his ground pound dodgeable. These weren't the problem.

THAT damn shockwave of his was a bitch, I tried everything, polarity wall, timing his throw then throwing 1 of my own thinking oh that would counteract his WRONG, and running away didn't work either. That single attack right there got me a bunch. OH and his grenade toss coupled with his grenade tossing goons got me a few 2

nope didn't try that, the only thing i didnt try lol, figured it was useless since running away and or 2 side, didn't work. figured its size was 2 big anyway bc he teleports close b4 he throws it.

He teleports in 4 short bursts till he ends up in front of you, then throws his punch. You need to time it so that you dodge diagonally towards the right right when hes priming his punch (after the teleportation)

Yea the mini map echo thingy, really isnt the point. Point being 350 are extremely too much.

Tbh I would have rather prefered the Assassins Creed 2 way of collectable things such as feathers, You knew how many feathers were in each district but didn't know were. Not to mention there only 100, which to me was high but more manageable then 350

I think 350 were long and tedious even with the L3 echo.

The echo feature is what makes collecting blast shards a lot less tedious compare to other games. I think that's why they decided to include so many pieces. It's a safe bet to say it'll take you less time to find all 350 blast shards compare to 100 feathers.

I can never understand how people come up with those 100% collection guides, unless the info was leaked from the game creators.

The only disappointment I have with the blast shards is that after collecting certain numbers of them, you stop getting new battery cores for collecting more. From that point on you are just doing it for the sake of getting the trophy and 100% the game. I would have thought my battery core would stretch all the way across the screen after finding all 350 pieces.

Kessler was easy.
