Future Upgrades
-Motherboard/CPU. In the future, when I have money, I may consider upgrading to something in the upper part of the ivy bridge line, with a corresponding motherboard. Won't be for a while though. -GPU. Oh, the possibilities. I dream about having 2 7990's in Crossfire, but that's only a dream. -Moniter. Something 1080p. 1900x1200 is my preferred resolution, -Mouse. Not too picky, but a new mouse would be cool. -Keyboard. This baby -OS. Maybe, in the future, I'll dual boot with a linux distro, but I'm keeping windows 7 for gaming, and I refuse to ever upgrade to windows 8. -Fans. My case has room for 2 more fans, and I plan on filling those slots for the coolest possible temps eventually. -Heatsink. If I ever want a more serious overclock on my cpu, I will probably purchase something along the lines of this. -Overclocking. I plan to overclock my CPU to 4.5GHz, or possibly higher, and I plan to overclock my RAM as well. All in good time. Temps range from 25c on the CPU, and 35 idle on the GPU, to 40c on the CPU and 50c on the GPU when active with a game, however, it's the middle of summer here, and it's 90 outside most of the time, so may not be accurate.
I'll update this with benchmarks and possible pictures of the finished product in the near future.
Not a bad build, but why does that keyboard cost $99? It looks like just a normal, regular keyboard with funky lights.
Slightly suprised to see you've gone with a 6970, despite the 7series being out now. I believe a 7870 is pretty much equal on performance with that. Cost might've been the important factor here though.

The 7XXX Series wasn't released yet when I had purchased the Graphics Card almost a year ago. I had earned about 1000$ Last summer, and only about 500$ worth of that had gone towards parts. In about april, when I could find work again. (Wisconsin work laws concering minors <18 had changed) I purchased the final round of parts. The keyboard listed is a mechanical keyboard. Mechanical-switch keyboards use real switches underneath every key. It feels good to use, in my opinion.
Nice keyboard. I myself went with Cherry Blues on a Cooler Master Quickfire. Love it. I'll probably get some reds or black later, but right now this is doing it's job. It's 10keyless so it's pretty small. Which I love. At one point I did look at the Rosewill keyboard but once I laid eyes on the Quickfire I changed my mind.
