"The Beast" Player1's SKT 478 Rig LOL

In order to gear up for the upcoming NACHO competition, the Beast needed to be assembled. Pictures were taken during this assembly pictures. These, are those pictures!

The Motherboard:

The Beast uses the highest quality ASUS Motherboard available. A P4PE-X.



The Processor:

What's the most powerful, most extreme, most AWESOME processor in existence? That's right, a 2.8GHz Northwood Pentium 4!



Overclocking Paste:

We can't overclock without our magic overclocking paste!



Cooling:

We all know that cooling is a major aspect of overclocking. For that reason I'll be using the most powerful coolermaster heatsink available. It's so special, I don't even know what it's called.



Memory:

What kind of Beast would The Beast do if it didn't have super Beastly 512mb DIMMS? Not a Beast that's what!




AGP X8:

The best videocards use the AGP X8 slot!



GPU:

For the most stunning eyecandy the beast is equipped with the ATI Radeon 9600




PSU:

Powering it UP!

That's essentially my current rig - but I have a different mobo and an AMD Athlon 2800+ processor (it's called 2800+ because that's how many seconds it lasts before overheating! - yep, nearly 47 minutes), only one stick of 512mb RAM (who could ever use a whole gigabyte ), and my video card is the 9600 SE (SE here standing for 'shit edition').

I miss 939. Those chips are pretty expensive right now.

Also I'm down to 512mb as well, one of my DIMMS died already lol. I've got some more lying around here, but I'll have to search for them.

It doesn't have a case lol. Some fans for airflow but that's it.

I have a haf X that's not being used, but I'm to lazy to stick the beast in it.
