Soul Calibur V Teaser Trailer

Pretty weak trailer. But what can you expect from a teaser. Shows mostly the last game. New character shown is Patroklos, Sophitia's son. This game takes place 17 years after Soul Calibur IV. Gameplay is said to be more refined and will be shown during E3. To be released sometime in 2012.

Hm not sure how I feel about this yet. One one side, I'm happy they're continuing the series, but worried they might be trying to reinvigorate it with bunch of new characters making it a let down for the die-hard fans.

Bangoo could be another possible character btw.

Don't worry-- Siegfried is still gonna be in it, but might perhaps play a lesser role than previous games. Nightmare on the other hand, I'm not so sure. I'm hoping Taki uses some sort of ninjutsu spell to maintain her appearance/age and be playable...but that's highly unlikely. xD

Mitsurugi will probably be playable. He'd be 46 years old, but that's not too old. Yoshimitsu will likely be in it.

If Talim, Tira or Amy are in it, they will be fully grown women.

Not so sure about Taki. They'll either replace her with a new ninja, or maybe she stabbed soul edge with her mekki maru and it gave her eternal life?

I believe he was early 30's? Either 29 or 30. Something like that. :S I hope we can play as the originals, maybe have them as unlockables. Maxi got progressively better with each game, IV he became much easier to link moves with, and his openings weren't as bad as before. He also poked like a pro, haha.

Oh hey I wonder if Sophitia's son is named, Repent! It's a proper name.

Law vs Fei Long will be excellent! Cammy's been shown as well. Can't wait for it.
