Soul Calibur IV Network Error

Hi guys,

My friend just bought SC4 and we tried to play online over PSN last night. So I created a game session and sent him an invite, he joins and got an "Network Error Detected" message. We tried it a few times... same results, even when he is hosting I get the same error when I tried to join. However we both can play online against other players just fine.

Has anyone encountered this problem or knows how to go about fixing it?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

re: Soul Calibur IV Network Error

I did. In the beginning everything was alright but now i can't play online for more than 2 mins. I'm automatically disconnected as soon as the error message appears though.

This has to be about the internet connection. The one i use here is pretty slow and lame so as soon as i can i'll have my own when i move, wired connection this time. We'll see if it gets better.

its the connection speed, if the other person's is too slow it won't let him join the game

It happens the same with me, I can't play in a private room with my friends, but I can play with many other people. No matter who creates the private session (me or my friends), we gets always a network error while organizes the play. But my connection speed is around 12MB and I have a NAT type 2, like my friends.
The really strange thing, Is that we choose to create an standard play without private room...Once I created the standard session I just wait my friends to enter on it, but they cannot see me!! (the same if they creates the session...I cannot see them...)

It's really boring... many thanks from Barcelona.

The question is:

¿anyone else with this problem?
¿Any idea to check something?
