for the first time, i went to the season store and upgraded some of my pitchers, not sure what the exact changes would be, but hoping that my pitchers would gain better control, and overall better performance. instead, i get consistent 113mph pitches across the board, with the exception of usually one of the pitchers 3 or 4 pitches. I think this is sick. I can't control these pitches well, and therefore i'm giving up homer after homer. i think this is ridiculous. can anyone help me here? thanks!

Have you ever tried setting the difficulty to your own custom settings? I have the game and I strike out 8 to 10 batters and Don't give many home runs. Using Aftertouch and Aiming it low helps.

Try AIMing it as close as you can to the slugger without hitting him. I've striked out even the best hitters that way.
