I am playing this on xbox and having same problems. I have tried many different tactics. The time factor does not seem to come into play until you pass a point on the river past the village. I tried taking my time killing all targets before passing the village even walked away from it for 10 minutes, the count down doesn't start till you pass that point. What is frustrating is the randomness of the power ups making it hard to predict and have enough health and or missiles when you make the last attack.

This is a very difficult level so early in the game, I am almost ready to quit and not buy any more Midway Games

I am having the exact same problem and if you have found a way to pass the level, please tell me!!! cuz I am angry

I beat the level about a week after I bought it. In this mission, you need to fly fast and destroy the hover craft with the missile on it. After you see the time start, just fly past everything, shooting every once in a while to avoid being hit. Fly to the craft with the missile and take it out. After it's destroyed, simpley turn around and Fly back to the enemies you passed and destroy them. Don't forget the time is still going. It should be a lot easier.

during the mission i must have hit a button combo that allowed me to have infinite ammo. i saw the message on the bottom of the screen and i dont know how it happened, i have been looking now to find the codes but i cant find them anywhere? after the ammo situation it was very easy to take out the last fleet.

inf ammo cheat guys is: press (6 times X), (11 times cycle), (START),(SELECT).

NOW IN MISSION 5 ON CHAMP1 DO THIS BUTTON COMBO AND THEN BLUST THEM OUT

i suck at this game but i love playing it do you have any good tips for me to use to get better
