Thread Index & Forum Rules

Welcome fellow Neo members. Just to be brief, I'll add forum rules and keep the index like it was. Don't worry, I'm not gonna be too strict, but I'd like to see some rules respected and followed and we will have no problems here at all.

Forum Rules

1.
Try to keep on topic as much as possible. It's very important that you don't drift off from one topic to a completely different irrelevant topic. I don't mind minimum off-topic discussion in the General Discussion thread at some times, but some just goes beyond the limit. I'm just saying, if you must go off topic, keep it slim.
2.
Do your best to avoid duplicate posts/threads. It's nice to see your enthusiasm to keep a thread active or up your post count, but please do your best to avoid double posting or making duplicate threads about the same topic. Duplicate posting sometimes will be allowed, if it means alerting someone about a game of PES or letting someone know about some news etc. but no thread bumping, or I will delete your post without any hesitation. Duplicate threads will also be closed if needed, it will save yourself the energy of creating two of the same topic.

3.
Thread titles - short and to the point. I, like a lot of people will be annoyed by thread titles with horrible misspelling, long titles which aren't needed, and also big caps. Just keep it to the point, if a long title is needed in your opinion, just explain it all in the thread and keep the title short enough.

4.
Do NOT flood the forum. This can be really annoying in some parts. If you've created a thread in the last five minutes or so, try your best not to keep on creating new ones every so many minutes, especially if they are off-topic. This could get to the point where I could bring a short or lengthy ban into perspective.

5.
No flaming. One person may have an opinion on which you do not agree on. Don't let this give you a chance to use any abusive language or bullying behavior here. If I see flaming several times by the same members, I will give that member at least a 4 day ban from this forum. I would also not like to see offensive signatures, avatars or custom titles towards other members upon the forum. If I do not spot this, it will surely be reported and I'll give you a weeks ban at the least.

6.
Do NOT spam. This is one of the most obvious forum rules in every Neoseeker forum. You should all know not to spam unless you are new. I find when people post one, two or three word posts really offensive unless it is very to the point. Also, I disapprove of posting just a smiley. Please leave it out, it does get annoying believe me.

7.
No site advertising through posts. This is strictly forbidden on Neoseeker, I will have to delete the thread or post in which this takes place and possibly contact higher authority.

8.
Do NOT disguise yourself as an unregistered member or create a new account to bypass a ban. You're only being silly if you do this. I will find out straight away if it's you, because I can see everyone's IP address on the forum so don't do anything stupid or your ban will be increased. I honestly don't want to ban anyone here because it's a friendly forum, but if I have to, I won't hesitate.

9.
Stay friendly. If a new person comes on the forum and creates a thread on a topic that's been discussed, keep friendly and help him/her out. Don't forget, we were all once new members and didn't know an incredible amount.

10.
Last but not least, enjoy yourself. You lads are a very friendly bunch on your good days. We all go on here to have a good time and a laugh and that, we wouldn't want to go on if we didn't enjoy it, so let's just have a good time here while it lasts.
