Ok it's true I have been bagging PES 2008 but I am writing this to say that I was wrong..............how wrong I was. I played it last night with a couple of mates and it finally "clicked" I got used to the different pace and xbox 360 controls. I do have to say its the best ever, gameplay wise that is and what else do you need from a soccer game!

Apologies if I turned some people off the game with the negative comments, feel a bit *bleep*ed for not giving it enough of a go...........

In some ways I'm really pleased with the game and in others I'm very dissapointed. I think most of the gameplay elements are fantastic - definitely better than ever before, the graphics are very good this time round and some of the player appearances are brilliant, as are the official teams, the commentating is also far better than before, BUT the presentation and music are terrible, as is the edit mode and online service, although I expect the latter to be sorted out fairly soon, and live in hope of a patch for the former.

I agree and want to stress that I think the gameplay is great as for the rest it's very much sub-par. They really need to get licenses for all the premiership teams, come on Konami stop being TA's!!

I really liked this game at first so, I can only imagine I'm gonna begin to love it even more as time goes on. I thought it was better than Fifa 2008 after two games.

ooh that sounds promising.

im missing this game so bad at the mo, i cant wait til my xbox comes back. does anyone know the chances of it breaking again?!
