The demo is complete and utter rubbish compared to fifa 08!!

iv been a pes fan for a few years now and have always preferred it to fifa! but not this year im afraid... big let down from konami and the guys!

wt do u guys think who have pleyed the demo?

PES or FIFA

PES easily wins it this year. I bought FIFA last year because I was so fed up of PES 6 shortfalls, though I still ended up playing PES instead.

This year I thought the FIFA demo was really poor for gameplay and graphics, and I love the PES demo. Really excited about this version and think it's going to be the best PES since pes4 at least.

i hate answering this question, as it always seems pointless. PES is, and has, always been the best game. gameplay is the key, PES always nails it, FIFA may hav some neat features but they hav never come anywhere near the joy of PES's gameplay. fifa always feels too complex whereas PES you can jus pick up and play, lovely it is.

i dream that one day they will join forces and with PES's gameplay and fifa's licences, that would be pure bliss, the ultimate football game.

I've downloaded both demos and PES is miles better. The only good thing about FIFA 08 demo is the shooting practice with Ronaldinho.

PES is way better than fifa - even pes6 is still much better despite its flaws. Fifa is a very basic game - I had Fifa World Cup 2006 and there are only 5 achievements and the gameplay is always far behind.

Based on the new demos:

Fifa 08: 6.9/10
PES 2008: 9.0/10

Othe PES/Fifa games I have played on 360:

Fifa World Cup 2006: 6.0/10
PES6: 7.8/10

I'm guessing PES will be a lot better than Fifa. I bought Fifa last Tuesday and I'm not greatly impressed except the commentary is amazing. I've not played the PES demo because my internet is down at home but PES6 is better than Fifa '08, the only advantage is the kits and players that are licensed.

I love the pes 08 demo so much to be honest. The games are short but it's just really good, more hyped about this pes than any other by a mile. Playing it every day still.

Only 10 more days lads and it's out in the UK/Ireland. I won't be buying/playing it until the 6th of November maybe because I'll be getting it for my birthday.

PES 2008 basically pisses all over Fifa.

The players on Fifa usually look like they're made of plastercine, and the gameplay is to slow imo

PES wins once again.

Lol fifa games are ok for the first hour or so, then you start to find massive holes in the gameplay and realise just how bad they all are. Pro evo has lasting apeal from the day you buy it till the day the new one is out the following year. Pro evo is one of the most rewarding football games ever imo.

id say every year there must be a coupl of thousand players moving from fifa to PES and vice versa,i think PES gains more as when kids get older they realise pes is a mans game.having said that sadly weve lost you to the darkside this year as you say buy to PES. i reckon a month into playing fifa and PES's release you may change your mind

look guys Fifa is CRAP and i say that because the graphics are crap and the gameplay... anyway pes is the best this year because it has better graphics new footballs new goalnets and new animations etc etc i heard that in pes you will be able to see the fans drink beer and the fans getting autographs from the players.. in pes it will show you a player interview about a match i also heard and seen a video about it that on the 360 the edit mode is back and in the masterleague you can make your own team its going to be brilliant praise you pes fans :D:D:D

you dont have to tell us that fifa is crap, jus the odd (and i mean very odd) individual.
