Have you ever dreamed of having your backline penetrated by Sweeney? Have you been whiling away the hours thinking about getting on the end of one of Ronaldo77's long balls? Have you often thought that Stealth107 is possessed of an immense tackle and would like to see it in action? Then this is the thread for you!

It's about time we welcomed the return of one of the most popular PES forum activities! I will start by explaining to any newcomers to the forum exactly what Neoseeker FC is and how it works: A fictional team is created on a PES2008 option file called Neoseeker FC and is filled with members from the PES forum community. Created players are made to represent the members real-life appearance and abilities - albeit exaggerated - and are submitted by completing an excel file which is made available to download once applications open (and is now available as a blank, just to look at). The squad players are then entered in to the file and it is made available to download as an option file. For those without the means to get downloaded files onto their game, all fixes will be posted up (though this will take a while to put onto the game).

This year's Neo FC will be run by myself, and Gnels has kindly agreed to create a PS3 file since I am on PC. The thread and will work in a similar way to previous years in that the squad will once again be split in half, giving us a Neo FC A and Neo FC B, which allows players more time on the field and also the opportunity for some friendly rivalry between the two teams. Instead of the two teams, one of experienced members and one of newer members as was done in previous years, this years Neo FC will be two opposing teams captained by myself and Gnels where we select our teammates from the list of applicants and experienced members are in the starting lineups.

We have had a total of 52 applicants to Neo FC this year! A record! That means two squads of 26, and 25 picks each for me and Gnels to make.

The team's were selcted in a seperate drafting thread. The basis of the thread was so that me and Gnels, the captains of Neoseeker United and Neo FC (the two opposing teams for this year's forum) could pick our teammates in a drafting process, rather like school football. IE, Gnels picked one player, I picked another, Gnels picked another etc etc until noone was left.

Picks were based on both position of play (whether we needed any more people in a position in our squads) but mainly on standing in the forum. Established members were picked first, and newer people were picked later on in the draft. The players picked first make up our respective starting eleven's, and those picked later are on the bench.

Numbers were then picked in a drafting process in the order that members were chosen for the squads.

Starting Eleven:

The file you download from filefront contains the spreadsheet you fill out, plus an example spreadsheet I have done to demonstrate how it works, a microsoft works version of the spreadsheet for people without the proper office suite, and a readme telling you basically what I've just said here!

The option file is now available for PC users, with a PS3 one on the way. Those of you without the means of getting files (IE, 360 users or PC or PS3 users who don't want to lose their own files) can edit the teams onto their game using the post below this one as guidance.
