Fantastic job TV|. Better than I expected. The appearance is spot on and the stats are pretty realistic too.

I'm a left back irl as well, so it was only fair that I picked that position.

quote Februarys Shadow
Due to the small amount of applicants so far, when it comes to doing my SOMS, I may join the two teams together, to create just one big Neo squad. At least then I won't be stuck with a knackered keeper after 4 games.
There's still a week left to get applications in, so I'm pretty confident we'll get around 40 all together, which is enough for two fairly decent sized squads.

Got Cow Ronaldo's, Dazzla's and PET's applications too now.

BTW, PET I'm not gonna be able to find any Zimbabwean players to overwrite, so is it okay if I put you as South African or Nigerian maybe?

On the defender front:

Hogan is a right-back in real life I think, so he could sign up.

EDIT: He sent his file to me

re: Neoseeker FC

This is annoying, i've filled out my application but just had a look at this thread and seen theres a load of other CF's already. I've been playing there since PES5 so i don't really want to change as its where i did play for my club before they folded and where i play for my school... also Golden Arse wouldn't really suit a centreback.

Also TVI, the appearences look v nice.

Just do it AADW...

If that's where you really want to play then fair enough, you'd still be in the team nonetheless.

I mean you have been here for a while.

re: Neoseeker FC

Match pictures and a few notes about the players in so far.
Apologies for the dodgy quality, I forgot to switch my graphic settings up .

Strike partners CB and Sweeney share a knowing look before the game...

Coldburn is through on goal after some great build up play from Ben and Sweeney

CB misses his chance, and looks disgusted with himself

Derp intercepts smartly to break down a Man United attacking move

Jonesy (with his old hair lol) saves smartly to his left

Lone makes a last ditch tackle to deny Ronaldo

Toonami strides forward with the ball

Gnels takes two opposing players out of the game with a slick change of direction

Will Baxter misses a glorious opportunity

Liverpooool tricks his way past the defender to deliver a cross

Gaffer forces a marvelous save out of Van Der Sar

Swatchy turns Giggs inside out with a well executed feint

A few blurb type things on the squad members

AJ6000 (AMF): A funny little player, drifts in and out of the game. He can go ages without touching the ball, and then he seems to be involved in everything for a period. If he is afforded too much space though, he can start to boss games as he did against Barca in a match I played.

Ben Legend (SMF): A nippy little winger with good dribbling skills, but his main strength is his ability to link up with the midfielders. Can get knocked off the ball a little too easily though.

Boyd12 (GK): The massive goalie is an imposing sight on the field, and is capable of pulling off some good saves. His distribution could sometimes be better though.

Cashis (CB): Solidness personified. Not spectacular, doesn't excel in any particular defensive area but a great centre back.

Charlton223 (RB): Similar player to Gary Neville. Not spectacular, just a very solid, able full back.

Coldburn (AMF): A funny AMF, tends to act more like an SS when he's in that role. Doesn't have the capability to dominate matches like some playmakers, but he can tuck away opportunities and pick out some deadly passes.

Cow Ronaldo (SB): A great wing back, gets up and down the flank with great gusto. Capable of delivering an excellent cross, and even ghosting into the area to score, as he did against Inter in one match.

Dazzla (LB): Ridiculously pacey, but can get caught out of position defensively. At times, he is a monumentally powerful attacking weapon on the overlap, but can drift out of games.

Deano (CMF): A really solid, no-nonsense midfielder who is rarely caught out defensively. Can also play some great passes when he needs to.

Dec (SMF): A quick winger, who is full of tricks. A great player to come off the bench and change games with his pace and ability to take on opposing players, as he did to great effect in two of my games.

Derp (CMF): A good midfielder who doesn't draw much attention to himself despite being the player through which almost all attacking moves go. Good at holding onto the ball when under pressure, and can make some telling tackles too.

Jonesy (GK): Had to change his stats because he was mental coming off his line, but couldn't actually save anything! Now he has very high response, agility, speed (for a goalie) and jump stats, but relatively poor defence, balance and GK skills. He is truly eccentric now, I often see him drifting inexplicably off his line when I look at the radar, and he always seems to have the look of a player fighting the urge to rush out of his area at every opportunity. He's truly monumental in one on one situations, but makes the occasional gaffe.

Gaffer (CF): One of my favourite players in the squad at the moment, Gaff is a very simple minded, direct forward. He doesn't mess around with anything fancy or frilly, he thrives off service like long balls over the top to run onto. Him and Will Baxter complement each other perfectly up front, and with Stealth's accurate passing from the back and Will's target man capabilities, those three should be key players when they are used together.

Gnels (SMF): The best winger in the squad - a complete winger. Pace to burn, skilful, good at passing, linking up with teammates and charging into the box when the ball is on the other flank.

Liverpooool (SMF): A great little winger, not especially outstanding in any particular way, but just seems to have a knack of ending up in the right place at the right time, especially when it comes to getting into the opponent's area to get on the end of crosses.

Lone Warrior (SB): In terms of getting a member of the team to play like their likened players do in real life, Lone is probably the best job I've done. He pretty much is Thuram in his Parma/early Juve years.

Matias F (CMF): A funny player, can be brilliant one moment and inexplicably poor the next. He can dominate play just in front of his own back four with his neat passing and movement, but sometimes lacks the defensive prescense a "true" defensive midfielder would have. Like David Pizzaro.

Nicodm (CF): A great all round forward, not amazing at anything, but has the ability to score and take men on. Poor in the air, but very good technically on the ground.

Pro Evo Taku (DMF): A great alternative to Deano in the middle. Complements more attack minded CMF's like Derp perfectly. A calming presence in defence, and can unleash a hell of a shot too.

Skares (CF): Neoseeker's resident G is a very effective forward, getting involved with play and doing some neat one-two's with teammates. However, I prefer him on the left wing when I have a solid fullback like Lone behind him, so his attacking instincts can really come to the fore.

Stealth (CB): Solid as a rock, and doesn't need to be good in the air since he can shove most players off the ball! He did really struggle to cope with the pace and skill combined with balance of Ibrahimovic against Inter, but in every other game (even against the pace of Eto'o vs Barca) he looked very assured. His long passing ability means route one play is a more than viable option, particularly when Will Baxter is on the field or Gaffer is against an opposing team playing a high back line.

Swatch (AMF): Swatchy basically is Van Der Vaart under a different name. Not a playmaking AMF, but a great player who'll get in the hole between the opposition's backline and midfield and create chances, either for himself or his teammates. Hits a cracking free kick as well.

Sweeney (CF): When I was in control of him, he failed to impress me. He was dropping too deep rather than being the fox in the box I'd hoped he would be, and I thought I might have to have another crack at his stats. However, it all changed when I let the CPU have a go with him against me, he was a constant thorn in my side, losing his marker and drifting menacingly around the penalty box whenever an opportunity arose.

Toonami (SB): Reminds me of Lee Dixon at full back, a really reassuring presence defensively and capable of joining attacks and linking up with his teammates nicely. Not tried him in midfield yet though.

Will Baxter (CF): Probably my favourite player in the squad currently. Immense in the air depsite not being particularly tall, and very able at holding play up too. Perhaps not the greatest finisher, but he seems to pop up in the right place at the right time too. Reminds me of Alan Shearer, though perhaps not as good at out-and-out goalscoring.
