The game was played at very quick pace with both sides quickly passing the ball up and down the field through their respective midfielders. However, it was Madrid the largely dominated the center throughout the game thanks to the tireless Essien. Although, West Hamn would carve out the first chances through Pires and Ljunberg respectively they were never that dangerous in the game. This was in stark contrast to a Madrid side that thanks to Nani was tearing the West Ham defence apart, they were however largely let down by their finishing that was extremely poor. The first and only goal of the game came through a rebounding shoot from Saldado off of Dudek that Nani rushed on to and nudged into the net.

It was a Saldado shot, Nani passed it to him he shot it and it bounched off Dudek into the path of Nani, it wasn't anything special.

The only sub was Inzaghi comming on for Maxi but they both really didn't do much.

Solgado wasn't in my line-up though

People does Saldado sound more like Soldado or Salgado.
