Im an avid FIFA fan, how I do not know. The game is so frustrating its unreal. However I did have high hopes for this, perhaps now being on next gen console it could take over PES as the better football game out there.
Ill look at the good points first.
It only cost me £15.
Now enough on that here are my irks.
Passing:
Why is it so slow? Everytime i pass the ball it seems to take an age to get to the next player. Where is the short, sharp crisp passing? Another thing where is the common sense pass? 2 players in front of you, you want to pass the ball it will always pick the most akward one.
Control:
These are supposed to mimick well paid preffesional football players. When was the last time you seen Cristiano Ronaldo chest a ball and take ages to get it under control because it goes so far away from him after chesting it? Shocking.
The Controls:
This is my biggest irk. Im not one for change, i like consistency. Why of why have they forced us to use the awful analogue stick? This is a next gen console, so powerful yet they cant give us a choice? And what is with the "classic" controls? Iv never used any of them in my life. Give us a choice EA. Let us pick the controls we want to use not you.
Shooting:
I just cant grasp it. I cross the ball, header it and yet it always goes over. Apart from corners where if the ball looks to be in it will probably hit my player, and my shots always go over.
Decisions:
1000 decision? Why are none of them the right one? When would you ever see a player letting the ball run past him? If that happens the game should at least make him have the ball then auto select when he does have the ball. Instead of this malarky where he does nothing.
Cant EA make a game where you can pick up and play without having to remember to press 6 different buttons just to do a step over? And get the controls sorted out. Or at least give us a controller with a decent analogue like the Xbox.
Thats me finished for now. No doubt I will find more annoyences while i play it more.
