I've found the first two leads thingies, turned them into gold, put them in the slots that made the two bars go away from the gate, but I need to open the gate! How do you get up there??!

When the ceiling collapsed, freeing a lead bar, that made a platforming path across the top of that room. Use the side stairs in the corridor to get up to where you can move across the sand, walls, and rubble.

Tried that. I got up on to the rock which has the rope under neth it but don't know where to go from there.

Jump to the top of the pillar in the center of the room. Lara will start sliding immediately. Jump from there to the flat rock she's sliding toward.
