The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Trainer Card Contest [Retro Theme]
|
Welcome to The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Trainer Card Contest!
This is the forums first trainer card contest, and it will also be the first contest to ever use Mystery Dungeon cards for some rounds. There will also be rounds for normal cards to attract people who like either or both styles of card making. Anyone is allowed to join the weekly rounds, as long as you follow the theme.
Rules:
- Do not edit your posts that have your entries for the round! If you do so you may be disqualified!
- Any entries that are entered as a jpeg will be disqualified. They lower the card quality.
- One card per round, only your first will be accepted and you may get penalized if you breach this rule.
- No stealing other peoples work, if you do, you will get heavily punished, and possibly a ban.
- Do not post random cards in this thread. Your post will get deleted if you do so.
- Obviously you must follow all of Neoseekers Forums Wide Rules, and this forums' specific rules. Failure to do so could lead to Moderator level punishment.
Judges:
Judges will take turns setting the theme and judging each regular round. Do not ask to be a judge, if I see someone I want to be a judge I will ask you.
Regular Rounds
The trainer cards will be graded from A-F, pluses and minuses are included in this, so F- is the lowest score, with A+ being the highest. 1st receives 1.5 points, 2nd 1 point, and third 0.5 points, this system makes sure nobody can get a huge lead without hard work. Regular rounds usually go for one week.
Current Regular Round:
Theme: Retro Description: Basically, base the card on one of the previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games (i.e. Red Rescue Team or Blue Rescue Team). Due: June 16th Judging: Rune Ripper
Tournaments:
Tournaments are different to the regular rounds in that a limited number of people sign up, they are held over PM, and that they are run in different formats, ie: Knockout. More information about how tournaments work will come when a tournament is approaching.
Current Tournament:
None

Badges:
These are the normal badges used for those cards which fit badges, feel free to make and use your own.

Userbar Font:
This Userbar font is the standard and expected font that you should use. You may use other fonts, but it usually ends up being unconstructive towards your grade.

Useful Links For Mystery Dungeon Cards:
Note for the Serebii links, you have to use the print screen button on your keyboard and paste in paint to get the sprite/image. Be careful because all D/P Pokemon sprites are not on the Internet yet.
ii, and links to it aren't working. Mystery Dungeon Pokemon Sprites (No D/P Pokemon) Flags, Pokemon Sprites, Face Sprites, Friend Area Backgrounds (And More!) Some D/P Mystery Dungeon Sprites

I know the first post doesn't say anything about another judging spot, but if you need me, I'm willing to help out. ^^

There is someone who I owe a favour I need to ask first, but if we ever need 4 judges or that person doesn't accept, I'll keep you in mind. ^^

Alright, cool.
Heck, if I don't get to judge, I might enter. Might not have much time, though.

Fair enough, but rescue cards only take 20 minutes if you get some time.
