I need help with my sun team very badly and well...here it is.

So far I also have a Vaporeon as my healer/water type pokemon but I could switch him if there is a better choice for a water type pokemon on a sun team. Here are his moves, items, abilities,...etc.

I would switch out some moves on Venusaur
Mine has @ life orb / black sludge
Giga drain
Hp fire
Sleep powder
Growth
With chlorophyll venusaur can outspeed a lot of things, the thing is to put the enemy to sleep fast
Growth will give you +2 for atk and sp atk so if you want to keep e quake it will be boosted by growth
Giga drain so it can get back health after taking hits or from life orb damage
I run hp fire to take out steel types and other grass types, also scizor can no longer wall venusaur with it

Also the wish mechanics changed, you don't need baton pass to pass a wish on vaporeon, put scald on him instead , Stab and a chance to burn

A few thoughts from myself:

If a second fire type is an absolute must, I'd consider trying one with a second type that negates the rock weaknesses (eg Heatran).

Hurricane is going to be useless on Dragonite since it's accuracy drops to 50% in sun.

Dint knew you played competitive , anyway insanity pretty much nailed it.

I'd go for EQ/FP/AT/Roost or similar, (earthquake, Fire Punch, Aqua Tail, Roost) with multi scale, donphan go for offensive rapid spinner, max HP/ATK with a choice band and Stone edge, Earthquake, double edge and rapid spin.

Arcanine is a no, go for heatran if you want to cover venusaur fire weakness,

Ninetails again a big no-no, i'd suggest you try some sort of sub wow fusion mono attacker.

Vaporeon has much better choices, curse poreon is viable, however i recoemnd an aqua ring+wish+batton pass, it's a mighty healer and can make some things, nameley venusaur a HUGE pain to remove, or ver venusaur you could opt for lilligant, which serves the same thing, only that a bit more limited but eventually more deadly Quiver dance+Giga Drain+Hidden Power Fire and Sleep powder) it also gets the cholorophyl boost so you can make some mess around making lilligant over 1000 SPE with ease.

Let me collect myself after laughing at that statement again.

Competitively, Heatran's OU. OU throws out "legendary status", so feel free to throw Heatran on your team. Silliest mistake people make is "legendaries" all being bunched in together.

You're completely walled by Flying-types, as well as several Bug-types (Yanmega is immune to EQ, and 4x resistant to Giga Drain). I can't really suggest much, as I'm not too big into using Venusaur, but possibly Hidden Power Ice against some common Dragons, like Dragonite, Salamence, Garchomp, and the Lati twins. HP Rock would hit most Bugs super-effectively, bar Durant and Scizor, but I think pretty much everything else bar Venusaur can cover them.

Because it's accuracy is more reliable than Hurricane is. Plus, it helps to drop three potential weather-setters in Tales, Tar, and Hippowdon. And Dragon Dance doesn't boost Special Attack, which is the stat used by Hurricane.

Anything else?

Arcanine might want Wild Charge as a fourth move, and replace Flamethrower with Flare Blitz, as Arcanine's Attack stat is superior. Life Orb would be a good item, although it's pretty frail with Wild Charge and Flare Blitz taking away HP in addition to Life Orb's recoil.

Ninetales should run Energy Ball, as the one-turn charge can be easily abused by opposing rain and sand teams. Possibly replace Confuse Ray with Nasty Plot, so Ninetales can have enough boost to clobber others. That way, you can abuse several weathers, while utilizing a status in Will-o-Wisp.

If you want another Fire-type, Volcarona is a neat option. Quiver Dance as a boosting move, Fiery Dance as a STAB Fire-type move that can potentially give it a boost, Bug Buzz as another STAB that cripples a variety of types, and the variability of a third attacking move. Could throw in Giga Drain, Hurricane, and Hidden Power. Only drawbacks are Stealth Rocks cutting its HP to half every turn it switches in, and a 4x Rock-type weakness.

I'd definitely say Heatran to replace Arcanine. Thing is, only one member of your current team resists rock and three are weak to it. Last thing you should be doing is adding a member with a 4x weakness to rock unless you plan on changing other party members to cover for it.

If you really don't want a legendary then try Infernape. It's fighting type negates its rock weakness as well and can hit pretty hard.

Honestly, it's more subway/pwt and random matchup sometimes. Competitive concepts are fun to check and work with, even though I don't do actual competitive battling on a regular basis.

Your Venusaur set is confusing me (both of them). It may help if you put the EVs for these sets.

Also, as everyone has already said Heatran should replace Arcanine. And change your Dragonite set. But I'd say give it Dragon Dance/ Fire Punch/ Extremespeed/ Outrage.

For something to kill other weather inducers, use Breloom. Breloom is one of the best counters to Tyranitar thanks to his resistance to both or Tyranitar's STABs and a Technician Mach Punch which easily kills Tyranitar with a 4x weakness to fighting. On top of that, Technician Bullet Seed kills both Hippowdon and Politoed with relative ease.
