general help Pokémon White 2 EV Training Help

Ok this is kinda silly but I really have no idea how the EV training work, I've got all the 'Power' items apart from the power lens because I don't need it. Anyway I want to make a competitive Rock Team I have the natures and what not. Let me just get to the point , I am trying to ev train my Suckle in HP (252) Def (248) and S.Def (8). It is freshly bred only at Lv 1 so I let it hold a Power weight for its HP training but every time I defeat a Audino I get around 1-2 points and around 4 or 6 in Def and S.Def. And my Suckle goes to about a Lv 9 or higher...
I just want to know how or if I am EV training it properly just ask if you want to know my basic stats or anything that could help

Please help me, I am grateful for all advice given

Like Geo said,

Since your Pokemon are very low level, you won't really see the effects of the EVs until later

To speed things up a little, you can also infect your Pokemon with Pokerus

It doubles the EV gain from every fight. It also goes on top of Power Items, so for HP you get +2 from the Audino
then +4 from the power weight, then Pokerus doubles it so you end up with +12 EVs from every fight

Yes, you are on the right track

What she said means that you fully EVd it in HP, now you can max out another stat as well...

Once you're done, she'll just say "your Shuckle has put in a great effort"

Yea, I'm pretty sure...

If you max out one more stat, then put 4 EVs into another stat, you'll be done

You don't have to continue EV training since its EVs are already maxed

Oh that great then that means i could just go on my second stat to focus on great
and what i was saying before was that, does the ev training in to be like one level to gain the needed ev's e.g a beat an Audino and I level up 5 times so my pokemon is now a level 6 would i gain 10 hp ev's
