	Regenerator Slowbro and Amoonguss are there to take hits. They get a third of their hp back on switch outs. Their opposite typing makes them ideal for it as well. Lucario will be physical and will has BoneRush(to be subsituted with Earthquake), Close Combat, Shadow Claw, and Extremespeed. He also has 252 EV's in attack and speed. Perfect IVs. Has Justified. Adamant Natured. lukien

	lukien Do you mean a Baton Passer? Or do you mean a fast status maker? I do plan on incorporating a Whimsicott on to a team.

	thundermaniac If you replace Metagross with, say, Suicune or Zapdos, you have a great UU team actually. But for OU, all of those Pokemon are outclassed by others really, except Slowbro. - Amoonguss is potentially very good but is, except for access to Spore, pretty much outclassed by Ferrothorn and, to a lesser extent, Whimsicott. - Metagross is not as good as a few other Steels like Heatran but still works nicely if you don't encounter a physical wall. - I'm sorry but your Aggron is awful, a terrible ability and crap moves, not even fit for UU play. It needs Rock Head ability and Head Smash move to be even useable in OU, especially with Technician Breloom running around everywhere. Replace it with something like Tyranitar, Heatran or Lucario depending on your team's needs. Or, repalce it with another defensive steel type which DOESN'T have a huge number of horrible weaknesses, like Forretress. - Togekiss is completely outclassed by Jirachi as a Paraflincher in OU play, and utterly useless compared to Staraptor as a Normal/Flying attacker (though it is physical unlike togekiss). Pick one of them. If you want a special attacker that can use similar moves to Togekiss, pick Lucario which has access to moves like Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon and Nasty Plot. - Arcanine? No. Pick Dragonite for an Extremespeeder, Infernape for a fast mixed fire type, or either Heatran or Volcarona for a bulky fire type. If you pick Dragonite, Volcarona or stick with Arcanine, replace Aggron with a Rapid Spin user like Forretress. ------------------- Please support my FireRed Hack!

	I am new to these forums, and not so much into competitive battling as i am into wrecking some friends i know in real life. There will be a $50 pot in the upcoming friendly tourney between us, and i would like to know how my team might fare. Clauses and out of tier pokemon are not a problem, but there can be no legendaries of any sort, even if they are in a low tier. The idea of a baton passer is appealing, as well as a regenerator, but im not sure where to incorporate them. Maybe i just wont? Maybe alomaloa or slowbro over jellicent? Not sure. I dont really feel like running a weather team quite yet, but probably will next tourney. Thanks a lot!
