This is specifically for use in a Trick Room team as one of the main setters. With an offensive prescence thanks to maxiumum investment in special attack, and surprising bulk thanks to no investment necessary in speed, Mesprit is an ideal setter. Once she renews the Trick Room, she can start firing off powerful attacks. The STAB attack is a personal selection between doing more damage in general versus dealing more damage to special walls. The second move is coverage, to fill whatever your team needs. Thunderbolt is for bulky waters and fliers, ice is for dragons, shadow ball is for ghost and psychic types who switch in as you TR, HP Fighting is for pesky darks (since Mesprit doesn't learn Focus Blast fuuuu), or you can opt for a mono attacker and use Stealth Rock for team support. Once Mesprit has done it's job and is at low health, Healing Wish comes into effect. The crux of the set, Healing Wish at the cost of the own user's life, fully restores a pokemons health, and removes any status conditions. In a TR team (or any hyper offensive one) this swing in offensive momentum is huge and often game changing. Imagine having TR set up by your lead, sweeping during its first round, switching in Mesprit, reactivating TR and then Healing Wish back out to the same beat up sweeper, who's suddenly a very dangerous threat now that (hopefully) its counters have been removed.

Nice sets, but Foul Play is not Prankster boosted, since it does count as an attack move.

apologies, i wrote that late at nigth, i havent finished checking the set, as you cna see it's a bit murky in it's redaction, also i copied the smogon set structure, were a set has multiple options
