Nah, I mean I want to but I still am not familiar with EV's. I have a mentor and I have read the training guide but I'm pretty useless if I read it once or 100 times lol.

If I was, I would use Rotom anyway.

Genesect makes for a decent mixed attacker/ revenge killer and this set makes good use of it with split Attack/Special Attack Ev's. With U-Turn as its only stab attack it gives you the capability to scout and gain a little info on the download boost it receives. Where Genesect makes most of its usage from is its large special move pool. With access to Bolt Beam coverage and add in flamethrower in on top of that you are going to get pretty good coverage overall. U-turn hits Grass types and hits dark types for super effective damage. Ice beam hits Flying, Dragons, and Grass types where Thunderbolt hits Flying types (again) and water types, useful in a meta game where running into a rain team is fairly easy. Flamethrower rounds off the set by hitting opposing steel types like Ferrothorn and Scizor.

Team mate options:
Genesect is a great Candidate for a hyper offensive team. With a set capable of hitting most of the meta game pretty hard and fairly unpredictable, Genesect can easily find its way onto any team if its a weather team or not. Genesect's wide move pool can provide great offensive threat for your team and give your opponent head aches trying to deal with Genesect.

Theme Tie In:

With the introduction of Genesect into the ever changing meta game, its release has transformed the meta game. For instance, Genesect's usage is raising while Scizor's is steadily dropping, more so than I thought it would do so and more and more Genesect's are being put onto teams. After using it for a little while now I can see why so many people are opting to run Genesect over Scizor. A large move pool will make Genesect a top threat for quite a while.
