MagnetBoy and what is "inb4 feebas"?

MagnetBoy XD ok. this ought to be a good theme... lets see... how's this for a set:

Magnezone @ Leftovers
52 HP/ 52 Def/ 200 Spatk/ 200 Speed
Nature: Timid
Ability: Magnet Pull
- Swagger
- Substitute
- Volt Switch
- HP Fire

Use: Magnet Pull + HP Fire is obviously to deal with Steel Types. Volt Switch is for if i find Myself faced with an opponent i can't beat with HP fire. Substitute is for survivability, and Swagger is for trolling XD

How it ties with Neoseeker: Magnezone = Computer... ish. I dunno why, but for some reason, i find the design of Magnezone to remind me of Neoseeker. Maybe it's because of the color scheme or maybe its because of the eye reminds me of the way they made the O in the title for Neoseeker look. Magnet Pull ability because neoseeker is SO ADDICTING and it "pulls" me in every day! And swagger is there for Trolling like what some people do on this site.

First and foremost please note that this set is designed for LC play. This dimwit duck has a great niche in competitive LC despite its low iq thanks to a well rounded move pool, and it's mysterious ability Cloud Nine, stopping any weather abusers in its track (cough, Drillbur). Calm Mind boosts its Sp.A up, and from there Psyduck has a choice between a STAB Surf, or coverage moves in HP Grass and Ice Beam. It's important to note that that HP grass is used over Electric to hit Chinchou, who would otherwise wall this set.


However this set is not without flaws. Ferroseed easily switches in on any of Psyducks attacks, so running a Magnemite can assist in not only removing Steel Pokemon, but taking electric and grass moves aimed at Psyduck. In return, Psyduck often finds chances to switch in from Fire attacks aimed at the magnet. Other pokemon, such as a Ferroseed of your own work greatly, being able to set up hazards to make Psyduck's sweep much more easily achievable thanks to the entry damage.

Gaze upon the winning set, all ye nonbelievers; simple, yet effective and somewhat effective. Rain is mandatory for this set to work to its full potential, so be it self-invocation via Rain Dance or using the foe's Drizzle to your advantage (which shouldn't be all too hard to do, thanks to the saturation of the current meta), get it to start raining. The set itself is essentially a one-trick pony: get Feebas in to something special (Latios, Rotom-W, Tornadus, Keldeo, etc.), hope they attack, and Mirror Coat the damage back (something is going to faint, and it isn't Feebas...not quite yet, at least.) Feebas' fun doesn't end after that, though. The remaining three moves leave a little parting gift to the foe's next switch-in, with one of three status conditions (two really, but a 30% chance to burn from Scald is better than nothing) hitting the foe.

Simple EVs are simple. Max HP is given to in order to maximize Mirror Coat damage. Full Speed and a Timid Nature allows Feebas reach 568 Speed in the rain, enabling it to outspeed, well, just about everything bar faster Swift Swimmers or whatever. ._. Feebas very much likes it if hazards were kept out of the field, so Rapid Spin/Magic Bounce support is crucial. Also, this set does nothing to anything physical, dies to priority/Sand/Hail, and is subject to a multitude of other things that completely thwart it.

Just like Feebas, Neoseeker is the hideous fish out of the bunch (or school, or whatever. It's way too late at night to be making references). It is looked upon its physical appearance, deemed ugly, and tossed back into the water for bigger and better things. Gradually, Feebas undergoes a metamorphosis, leaves behind its once-unappealing exterior, and is transformed into a new being who is suffused with beauty. And no, I'm not just making this up for the competition, I can see the future; Neo will undergo a transformation and will become an internet sensation. I'm totally serious.
