You need people to realize that you have just the same amount of clout here as Ice does, and you'll want to do it soon. If Ice had left the threads unattended to after you closed them, it would have been you putting your foot down, and it would have been a fine way to pave your way. However, Ice went and made sure he got the last word. This not only undermines what the people will think of you, but they'll think that Ice also thinks he's your higher up. It's the little things, man. You think it means nothing, but having a forum's respect means a lot. There is probably more to say, but I think it's time for Icekickseverything to get his thoughts in. With all due respect, I've been doing this longer than you and I'm not taking your advice on this. Just plain and simply, you're wrong. If you want to take this further PM myself and MB. MB and I know what we are doing, and me posting in a thread that's closed, doesn't undermine shit and if you read the post both times have nothing to do with the closing. One was me laughing at something MB said and the second one was talking to VKR. You would know I didn't undermine anything. I'm 99% sure everyone on these forums knows how much I respect him, I'll make it as clear as day if you want. I PICKED MAGNETBOY FOR MY CO MOD AS HE WAS THE BEST OPTION AND I RESPECT HIS OPINION. 	Jeremy I'm perfectly aware of how public view and psychology work. I honestly don't care if people think I'm second-in-command. Truth be told, I prefer it. That way, people do more shit with me and think they can get away with it, giving me a chance to make more of an explosion to the public than just the occasional job here and there. ------------------- Have cool sets? 	Walks into strat feedback thread and looks at the last page or so of posts and wonders if he misclicked. MagnetBoy and Icekickseverything, I've been thinking about BMT's and I think they are much less harmful than they appear. 2.BMTs or Build My Teams are not allowed (this also includes Build My Players.) They show lack of creativity and laziness. It is better to have an idea then have not one at all. If there is a BMT it will be closed and deleted. If you continue to make BMT/Ps you will be warned and possibly banned. That is your reasoning for not having one, which is understandable but I would suggest allowing members to help others build teams. On the condition that the person seeking a team has a foundation that can be built on. For example; let's say they want to have a team that is defensive/stall. They post several Pokemon they have in mind then the community helps them build the team. It's a great way to involve several members working towards a common goal, to create a successful competitive team. So long as those guidelines are followed and there is no ambiguity I don't see how it can be a hindrance to the forum when you look at the positives that could entail. 	Sovereign yes of course they're meant with good intentions, but sadly if we allow them straight out then we'll become overly flooded with them. It'd be great if we could, but because of people's laziness and mob mentality, it really isn't much of an option. The rule could be altered though, certainly, as I usually leave a thread up and say that the OP must add in at least some coherent ideas. 	Surely trialling it wouldn't be out of the question MagnetBoy? It would be a shame to see the community of this forum miss out on the opportunity due to a perceived problem. A changing of the name from BMT to Team Help may help established members recognize the distinction that exists between this idea and a complete BMT. In my idea the members must already have an idea of what their team will be, whereas a BMT requires no thought as you outlined. With the current rules I think some members may avoid seeking assistance because they think it is a BMT. With several Team Help threads on the front page this will no longer be the case.
