If you're here then you're reading this, so welcome to the Team Volcano Force Pokemon Pearl Branch thread (Which I shall be referring to as 'our thread' because I do not wish to type that over and over again XD) a clan that is in fact a branch of many branches that are the tree of Volcano Force (Put simply we have clans/crews/teams in various games... well technically not yet but we are branching out).
The clan is friendly, fun and doesn't pressure anybody (Unless Capital is in a mood... I'm a gonna get scolded for that one lol) and people of any skill level can join, newbies can receive help until they're good and experienced players will be given more experienced tasks to do such as clan wars with more experienced clans.
Now to some up the tops of the clan very briefly (Partly because I don't dare make any more jokes about Capital... I do value my head lol), the whole of Team Volcano Force is lead by CAPITAL BETA he's friendly and funny and for the most part a great guy to talk to although don't start winding him up. The first Co-Leader of Volcano Force is Yello Man he's funny and great at making graphics and spams a lot. For the most part he won't punish you for spamming... or much really XD And then there's me (Click the link to my profile under my name you lazy people ) and I won't bother with a self-explanation because I'm lazy. Put in very short terms, I'm funny, can be annoying, generally will shut up if told too and will try and get along with most people. But if I get bitten I do bite back *Insert 'I warned you' sort of smiley* there's also a load of other great members but if I keep up these explanations someone's gonna decapitate me XD

Divisions

Eruption Squad
These Eruption squad are a group of 8 the best battlers in the clan whom take on the considerably strong clans during clan wars. To get on the Eruption Squad you must face the 3 leaders of the Pokemon Diamond branch and prove your skill. Winning and losing isn't important, what is is that you display your skills and knowledge of the game and that you have a good attitude, are willing to help others, aren't a sore loser or stuck up winner, ect. Those qualities will get you a place on the Eruption Squad, not simply winning a few battles. The Eruption Squad will be order from 1-8 ranked in skill level that is decided between the three leaders. If you think you can get a higher rank you may challenge the person directly above you (5 may challenge 4) to a best out of 3 battle, if you win then the two of you swap numbers, if you lose you may not challenge again for at least a week. If all eight slots of the Eruption Squad are full and you wish to be a part of it, you may challenge the eighth ES member to a best of 3 battle, win and you can take their place but lose and you many not challenge for a place for two weeks.

Battlers
Battlers are the majority of the clan, they face weak-average clans in clan wars and vary in skill, the top 8 are moved up to the Eruption Squad. Battlers can take part in in-clan wars and clan wars against the more moderate skilled clans.

Breeding Head (That sounds wrong lol)
This member is the head of the Pokemon Breeders, essentially the best of the lot, and should be good at IV breeding. He/she may choose certain resctricitons for what breeders may breed (To keep conflicts between who gets what happening) and is well in charge of the breeding program (I'm killing myself laughing at this point).

Breeders
These members in the clan specalize in breeding Pokemon, if you need something with a certain nature, egg moves, gender, ect, breeding for you then these are the people to ask. I'll leave it to the Breeding Head to work out some sort of competition breeders could have.

Training Head
Basically the head of EV training. This guy/girl is essentially the best of the best (Within our clan) at EV training Pokemon, been able to train multiple Pokemon in one day and can do requests. He/she basically helps sort out EV training requests. Left to him/her to work out a competition for EV trainers.

EV Trainers
These guys/girls can EV train Pokemon and damn well at that, they can take requests to EV your Pokemon how you want it and trade it back to you afterwards. If you need something EVing but don't have the time yourself these are the people to ask.

Graphic Head
The Graphics Head is the head of the Graphics Designing group in the clan, basically the best of all the Graphic Designers. The Graphics Head can judge during graphic competitions and has a say in choosing team graphics (Although that ultimately is the leader's choice).

Graphic Designers
The members of the clan who make graphics whether they be fusions, avatars, ect, these guys specalize in making graphics rather than battling. They can take part in graphics competitions and design graphics for the clan.

Details on Online Trading/Battling
Online players with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl can trade Pokemon or battle their Pokemon against other player’s Pokemon, from all the way on the other side of the world! You should know this already but it’s sort of required just in-case, if you don’t know just look about the forum, you’ll work it out.
Now there are two main methods of competitive battling, one of which is using a Pokemon Diamond/Pearl cartridge, a Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. Basically you link you game (And DS) to the Wi-Fi servers (Wirelessly) and you can connect to other people’s DS’ using Friend Codes, 12 digit codes that you can enter into a Key Item known as the Pal Pad basically you and your opponent must have added each other’s friend codes and both have access to Wi-Fi in order to battle/trade using Diamond/Pearl.
The second method of battling, is a downloadable program called Shoddy Battle. Basically it’s a program that lets you battle Pokemon (Obviously in the program) over the internet, through the use of it. It’s sort of difficult to explain but if you want to try it then download it here (You need Java, you can get details on the website). The advantage of Shoddy is you don’t need to EV train or IV breed your Pokemon, you have access to any Pokemon and basically put simply you can build a team out of any Pokemon with any (Legit) movesets, EVs, items, ect within seconds, taking away all the hassle of doing it in-game.

Tier List

The Tier list is basically a list that explains the 'usefulness' of all Pokemon in the current Metagame. It's ranked with Tiers, UU (Under Used), OU (Over Used) and Ubers. These are for the most part determined by how good a Pokemon is, mediocre Pokemon like say Victreebel are placed in UU whilst great Pokemon like Garchomp are placed in OU. Ubers is a tier for Pokemon too powerful to use in Standard matches, they limit what people can and can't use because most regular Pokemon can't keep up. There are also two other tiers, Never Used and Borderline which are determined by popularity. Never Used are UU Pokemon that people practically never play, generally the worst of all Pokemon. Borderline is a Tier for Pokemon too good for UU but generally can't do -that- well in OU, thus becoming BL. It's also unpopular but still capable of OU competition Pokemon like for example Aerodactyl.

Clan Wars
Clan Wars are basically 'tournaments' -in a sense- between two rival clans, mostly based around players battling each other over Wi-Fi or Shoddy, sometimes prizes are offered but for the most part they're fun and a great way to gain experience (Experience competitively, not in-game).
The way Clan Wars will be done is relatively simple, Volcano Force will at some point divide a few players (Preferably around 5-8) who will become the higher level players for the Diamond/Pearl branch, basically they will play against higher level clans (Such as the infamous Espada, sorry first guys that came to my head XD) whilst the rest will get to play against more newer or more less experienced clans, to keep the playing field even on both sides.
We aren't accepting wars at the moment but if you wish to organise a war (Once we have more members) post in the thread or PM me.
