It'd probably be at the end of a cave because thats where I think legendaries belong, hidden in the depths where no-one csn find them. Thats why I don't understand roaming legendaries, they're supposed to be mythical creatures that few have seen but they just fly around for everyone to look at.
Anyways, back on topic, I'd include puzzles that would actually test your brain rather than the "drop the bouldr down the hole" ones we see a lot. Something like the regis in R/S/E where you have to do certain actions in certain places to progress, bad example but I can't think of anything XD

I like that idea. Roaming legends is kinda stupid. I liked the R/S/E Regi trials, that was very interesting.

Yes please, make use work to find that legend. And a rival battle before, I like that... battle to see who gets to capture it.

I would have you go through a ice maze, and then through a forest sort of like a harder, much harder version of PinWheel Forest, and then battle someone for it I guess.

Yes, I would enjoy that alot. And the trainer would have 70s-80s or 90s level Pokemon and with VS. Seeker, can be battled later. Even have something like the R/S/E, where you need specific Pokemon as well.

That as well, and with seasons like you said, you would need a specific season to access the item. And you wouldn't be able to access it unless you beat the elite four, maybe more than once, and you'd need most or ALL the TMs to get to the place.

The entire story for this game revolves around this legendary Pokemon. Perhaps each Gym requires you to get a certain Key Item from the Forest. And once you get the final piece from the Champion, you can use all of the pieces in order to finally gain access to the legendary Pokemon.
