Substitutes can be anyone as long as they are in the clan, and people can substitute for more than one clan. However if they are starting, they cannot substitute for other clans unless they are replaced from the starting line-up of their primary clan in which secondary/tertiary clans can then place them in their starting line-up. As far as the Trade System goes, if the two reps being traded are in the same clan and both members and clan leaders agree to it, they can switch positions. And for Geo's system he would want clans to send in their 3 representatives between each round a week in advance before starting the round so line-ups are more tentative between each round. So does anyone have any concerns about these aspects we are trying to implicate into the event? Pretty much what I was going for, but they could also be interchangeable throughout the event that's to say if a clan leader wanted to sit someone out for a round for poor performance they could use a back up to try out. They would have to pull from the clan anyway. I just think it gives more freedom to the clans and allows the entire clan to potentially get involved for such an event. XD Just so we can get an official vote from every clan leader who plans on participating with their clan in the ASCW IV this year, how do you feel about these alternatives for the systems we want to put in place? In the event of my system being used, how many substitutes should a clan be allowed? ~A maximum of 3 in the substitution line-up; leaders can only gain more substitutes by using the Trade System or pulling from their clan when all 3 substitutes are starting for someone else. ~Everyone in the clan is eligible to be switched into one of the 3 starting roles depending on the discretion of leader and said member (this lets the whole clan be involved to an extent, at least the ones that want to battle) 3. How should swapping or substitution be regulated? ~Discretion of the clan leader ~Only when the person being swapped out is unable to battle 4. Should final bracket seeding be different? ~Go with last year's ~"NFL" play-off style seeding 5. When should the event start? ~Same day as last year (June 21) ~Earlier ~Later 6. Should the 1 PO, 1 Wi-fi, and 1 mixed user be factored in again? (This will not be a requirement, but it is merely a recommended set-up to avoid problems with battling platforms) ~Yes ~No I believe that's it. Any issues you feel should be acknowledged then please speak up. Any questions about the way things were ran last year then please also feel free to ask This will be the official vote for these aspects so now is your chance to voice you opinion so I can start preparing the thread for early registration (which will probably start early to mid May, I haven't worked that out yet).
