That's fine Squiggle Bath, an hour isn't bad I dont tend to keep track of how long mine take very often xD cos I tend to start them then come back to them as I often have to go and do something else. although the few times that I have kept track of time some of my fairly good pencil drawings have taken about an hour or so


MidnightWolf, I tend to find if your going to trace something whether it be a pokemon or something else, the key to making it look good, is to make it look like it wasn't traced. Generally the only way to do that is either by being really good, or by editing it in places.

Also helps it you do loose strokes of the pencil instead of keeping it pressed to the paper

I know when I trace pokemon I nearly always edit it either as I'm tracing or afterwards, otherwise it just doesn't look like the lines are meant to be in that shape.

Now adays I can easily draw something like that, if I was younger when I was horrible at drawing and I'd scribble out and then scrunch up any work that I thought didn't look right when I drew it, I'd probably of been glad to trace it for the sake of having it perfect xD
