Welcome to the Black Knights II

Formerly Gods of Pokemon, the Bleach Clan, the Gotei Juusan, the Espada Clan, Shadow's Epitaph, Oblivion, the Shadow Knights, and The Knights of Oblivia.

Introduction

The Black Knights are a top tier Competitive Battling Clan, and because of our Shadow's Epitaph blood, the best one on Neoseeker. Battling Competitively is our Primary Statute. It only natural we focus on competitive battling since we are formed of the best battlers on Neo. Thus we have a ranking system. It adds a competitive nature to clan and something to better occupy its members. Upon joining you will be placed at the bottom and must work your way up the ranks. Remember that your starting rank doesnt have to be your permanent rank. Its very simple to move up in the ranks. Just look at the ranking section to see how. From there we also want to have fun. That includes general talk and trading. Also, if any of you out there want to ask us about competitive battling or have some sort of question you need to ask us, drop us a PM.

Brief History

The Gods of Pokemon, known as GoP, was made by Ryan1234 on August 11, 2007. Thread one can be found here. Yes, Ryan was and is still a noob. =D Overall, the clan flourished and reached threads past 90. Many threads were deleted, so only 62 threads could be proven. Many legendary battlers used to be part of this clan such as Bladed and Vivalaraza.

The Shadow Knights may appear as a new clan to some of you, but in reality we are a fairly old clan with storied history. Our first origins were The Bleach Clan, which started on August 14, 2007 by Old Man Zangetsu. We grew very rapidly filling our ranks nearly by Thread 3. We won a few clan wars and had a great time socializing. Eventually we went through a name change. That name was the Gotei Juusan. By then we were less of a battling clan and more of an on-topic GD of sorts. Some will attest that to being our Golden Age, but who's to say now isn't really our Golden Age?. Anyway, we managed to continue on through 35 Threads. Now a big question you may be wondering is why change your name to the Gotei Juusan? Well that was because of a pact of sorts between our newly formed sister clan, The Espada, created by Kogosumaru. They flourished as Neo's Top Battling Clan, basically the Bleach Clans former deity. The Espada reached to a full 24 threads with varying activity. They started many somewhat successful tournaments and other battling events. Now with the new rules that have been introduced and Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold looming on the horizon, it was time for another evolution. Thus the result is the combination or fusion of the Gotei Juusan and The Espada to what you see now, Shadow's Epitaph, a new battle oriented clan. With our three + years of history, we have secured our spot as one of the primer clans of this forum. Times change and activity fluctuates. We needed a boost in activity and preferably a new face. Luckily we werent quite alone in this endeavor. We turned to The Black Knights and offered a merger which they gladly accepted. With that, two of the three longest running clans of Neoseeker merged to form what you see now. The Shadow Knights! But how did the mighty Black Knights start? Well they were founded by Wifi_fish under the name Oblivion. After 8 long threads, they went through a name change. They became The Black Knights a reference to the Anime, Code Geass. Code Geass is awesome; you should watch it. Anyway, up until the merger we secured a total of 56 Threads with a few war wins and an amazing past. We take our battling seriously, so we are the ones to go to if you want a challenges.

We have been around for over 3 solid years and have achieved so much. An amazing war record, as well as our members, past and present, who have won many awards, and achieved just as much in the form. Without them, none of this would be possible and we might not even remain. A big thanks goes out to them.

On the verge of death, the Shadow Knights were starting to slow down. Members started to leave one after another. On July 25, 2011, Old Man Zangetsu saw no point in keeping his clan anymore. Thus, offered Shadow Bolt for his clan, the Knights of Oblivia, to absorb the Shadow Knights. The Shadow Knights were absorbed, along with it's legacy, creating the Black Knights II. Shadow Bolt, after absorbing SK, decided to change the name of the Knights of Oblivia back to the Black Knights. Note that this isn't a clan merger.

The Ranking System

Ranks will be determined on how much activity each member expresses and the different events that they participate in. Once one gets to the last rank, they receive a prize and the ability to change their rank to any Pokemon. No multiple members may have the same Pokemon rank icon as any other member who has also reached the last rank. One can only change their icon once for every time they reach the final rank. To change, you must prestige and start over to the beginning. The one thing different would be that you don't have to use the basic Pokemon rank icons when leveling up again.

Gaining Exp.

To establish a balance between Wifi and PO players, any member will be restricted to 3 Wifi or 5 PO matches a day. PO battle results will also be subject to a 1/5 ratio, however PO battles won't be enforced to be held within the Neoseeker channel, as such battles from the Smogon and Mysidia channels will also be rewarded.

Winning with 1 Poke Left = 100EXP earned.
Winning with 2 Poke Left = 200EXP earned.
Winning with 3 Poke Left = 300EXP earned.
Winning with 4 Poke Left = 500EXP earned.
Winning with 5 Poke Left = 700EXP earned.
Winning with 6 Poke Left = 1000EXP earned.

Weekly Activity Reward = 200EXP earned.

Clan Contributions (Graphics) Reward = 200-500EXP earned.

Winning a Non-clan Related Tournament Reward = 500EXP earned.

Pokesav'ing a Team (or similar task) For a Clan Member Reward = 200-400EXP earned.

Joining The Clan Reward = 100EXP earned.

Appointment to a Leadership Position Reward = 1000EXP earned.

Every 1000 EXP you receive you shall level up. So keep adding up your points! Be sure to PM or post how many EXP you've gained when you finish a task. If there is a 20 level difference between the two members, then the EXP gained is doubled.

PM me every time you have earned points so I can add them to your exp.

lol @ the thread title.

Lizz I noticed that resembled a stall team with SkarmBliss being on it. In that case, I would advice you to do whatever you can to keep Skarmory alive as long as Blissey is around and vise versa. Without one, the other is wide open to kinds of attacks one could cover for the other.

What was your team again? I know it consisted of a lot of Pokemon with Substitute.

Well I can help you out with the whole combo thing if you want as that's how I start building a team. I usually pick a combo and work from there. With that team, I actually put 2 combos together. First being Ferrothorn and Chandelure as they cover each other's weaknesses very well. One is offense, the other is defense. As for my other combo, I have my Dragonite typically slam stuff with strong Outrages and such to soften them for my Haxorus.

EonEdit: it was Ttar, Hera, SkarmBliss, Alakazam, and Dnite Shadow Bolt

I usually start with a combo that I like using. Like with that team, I started with Ferrothorn and Chandelure and worked from there. On another one of my teams, I start with a 3-part combo featuring Latios, Magnezone, and Metagross. But yea, usually start with a combo and find things that work well together after that. I find that if you build from a defensive synergy aspect, the offense comes naturally(like with Ferro and Chandy)

Eon80: I build teams why picking one Pokemon that I just feel like using. Then I pick the wall/sp wall that go well together. Then I pick Pokemon that have good typing and sync together.

Shadow Bolt sounds similar to how I do it though I don't go after walls as quickly. I just make sure I have a thing or 2 that can take some hits or help me take some hits. Espeon and Ferrothorn fit that with my team and Espeon often pivots into one of my 2 main sweepers.
