Welcome to the Black Tower where the all Asha'mans reside.

Based on the novel series 'The Wheel of Time', the Asha'man: Guardians of the Dragons (AGD) was formed with the intention of uniting the diversity of fellow Pokemaniac Neoseekers. Be it competitive battling, breeding, event/shiny collection or general Pokemon knowledge, we invite people of various background to join us in making AGD an everlasting legend in time to come. Active discussion is encouraged, and hence, we seek active members.

♠ Rules & Regulations ♠

Heed the following rules or fear the wrath of the Asha'man.

1) Do not spam or flame. This is the omnipotent rule in any forum. Spammers/Flamers will be discharged from the clan.

2) Be focused around Pokemon in general. Do not discuss off topic.

3) Never disrespect anyone. Be nice to others and others will be nice to you.

4) Be active. We love to have fruitful discussion that is ever-going.

5) If you want to join, please PM the M'Hael (Leader) or get a referral from an existing clan member.

6) Only the Leaders can create new threads.

7) Stick to Neoseeker rules. No questions here.

8) You have to be listed on the our roll call before you can post here. And allies, of course.

9) Enjoy your stay here. Learn as much as possible. Good begets good.

Soldier

The lowest rank. (6)
For those new members in our ranks, you will belong here. Work hard and you will be awarded the next rank.

Dedicated

The second rank. (4)
For those who have upgraded yourselves, you will be rewarded with the rank of Dedicated. This is a transition phase to the highest available rank. Show your dedication.

Asha'man

The third and highest rank. (3)
Subject matter experts in battling, breeding or general pokemon knowledge, this group comprises of people capable of mentoring those in the ranks of Soldier and Dedicated. Asha'man and Leaders will determine whether you transit from one rank to the next.

You need help on exclusive event pokemon or anything under the sun, you can ask these 2.

Tsorovan'm'hael

Storm Leaders (2)
To battle, you need to know how to get those competitive battling pokemon. If you want them legit, you have these 2 to guide you along the way.

M'hael

Leader (1)
Administrator of the clan. Anything to do with organizing events or improving the clan, you can talk to him.

Details on Promotion
This ranking system is just a system to induce healthy competition, and at the same time, encourage kindness and activity among our fellow Asha'man.
If you have qualms about this, please PM the Leader. Thanks.

From Soldier to Dedicated
This will be done through a 24-hour voting system, kept highly confidential through PMs from the Soldiers to the Leader. The Soldier will appraise his/her peers through a simple ranking of 1-5 (since there are 5 other soldiers) and the Leader will collate the scores from the Soldiers. The top score will be awarded the rank of Dedicated.

From Dedicated to Asha'man
Similar to the first promotion, this time, leaders and Asha'man will have a voting system, again for a duration of 24-hour to promote smooth running of the clan. They will rank the Dedicated from 1-4 and the Leader will collate the scores. The top score will receive the accolade of a full-fletched Asha'man.

From Asha'man to Leaders
Will only happen if one of the leaders decides to step down. The outgoing leader will hand-pick from the pool of Asha'man to be his successor.

Once our clan is complete with 18 active members, we will proceed to have a leisure intra-clan Gen 4 OU battle tournament. To know what pokemon you can use, refer to Smogon OU Tier list here. To make smooth progress of the tournament, we will conduct it in the Battle Tournament forum and held on FoC PO Server (with their permission). Sleep Clause:
Two or more of your opponents Pokémon cannot be put to sleep by a sleep inducing move. Rest, however, does not count.

Evasion Clause:
Moves that increase a pokémon's evasion are not allowed. This also includes moves that lower accuracy such as Mud Slap, Sand-Attack, etc.

Species Clause:
Pokémon of the same species cannot be used in the same team. Species is determined by the pokemon's number in the pokedex. ex: porygon-Z and porygon 2 in the same team would not be in violation of the species clause.

One Hit KO Clause:
OHKO (One Hit KO) moves are not allowed. These moves are:

Fissure
Guillotine
Horn Drill
Sheer Cold

Self-KO Clause:
When you are on your last pokemon, You are not allowed to use a move that will force a tie i.e. Explosion or selfdesctruct. Doing so will result in an automatic loss.

Uber Clause:
No Uber Pokémon are allowed. Ubers include the following pokémon:

Arceus
Darkrai
Deoxys (all forms)
Dialga
Garchomp
Giratina
Groudon
Ho-oh
Kyogre
Latios
Latias
Lugia
Manaphy
Mew
Mewtwo
Palkia
Rayquaza
Salamence
Wobbuffet
Wynaut

Item Clause:
Your team cannot have multiple of the same items, meaning each Pokémon must hold a different items. Items that are excluded from this rule are:

Life Orb
Leftovers
Black Sludge
Choice items (Specs, Band, and Scarf)

Hax (Luck) clause
No items that involve luck may be used.
Items included in this clause are:

Brightpowder
Focus Band
Lax Incense
Lucky Punch
Quick Claw
Razor Claw
Razor Fang
Scope lense
Stick

Soul Dew Clause:
The item Soul Dew may not be used.

Alternate Form Clause:
Pokémon that require a cheat device for competitive battling, such as Rotom-Appliances, Shaymin-S, and Giratina-Origin Form are not allowed. Deoxys (Speed, Attack, and Defence), Nidoran(Female and Male), and Gastrodon(West and East) are excluded from this rule.
