Welcome to the Blood Battlers of Darkness. We are a proud clan that is committed to the art of competitive Pokémon battling. This clan specializes in both Generation IV and Generation V, as well as battling through Wi-Fi, Shoddy Battle and Pokémon Online. This clan came from a long line of clans from the past few years. In short, on December 20, 2009, this clan was originally made as a branch of the Super Smash Bros. Brawl crew Blood Brawlers of Darkness after the Pokémon clan Gods of Pokémon died. This clan holds one of the oldest clan roots in this forum, and we shall continue to successfully carry on our legacy.

The point of our rank system is to challenge the people ahead of you to rank matches so you can work your way up to the number one spot and get in the Blood Battlers of Darkness Rank #1 Hall of Fame. You can only rank battle a person that is within two ranks of you. To challenge someone, you must notify them by PM and make sure a leader knows about it. If the person one rank above you has been inactive for 14 days, you can take their rank. All battles will be 4th generation rules until 5th generation OU tiers are officially released. Make sure to post or PM the results to the thread maker. If the person above you cannot battle due to not having Wi-Fi/Shoddy/PO, then the next person in line will be treated as if they are one rank ahead of you and so on. You must wait 2 days to re-challenge someone if you were beaten by them. Remember, you are responsible for getting your matches done!

Evasion Clause: Moves that boost evasion (i.e. Double Team and Minimize) are not allowed.


Freeze Clause: Two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be frozen at the same time.


Sleep Clause: Two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be asleep at the same time. Self-induce sleep via rest does not activate Sleep Clause.


OHKO Clause: One-Hit KO moves are not allowed.


Species Clause: Two or more of the same Pokémon may not be used on the same team.


Self-KO Clause: If both players have only one Pokémon left, moves which KO both the user and the opponent (i.e. Explosion, Destiny Bond) are not allowed.


Soul Dew Clause: Soul Dew is banned on all Pokémon.


Hax Item Clause: Bright Powder, Focus Band, King's Rock, Lax Incense, Lucky Punch, Quick Claw, Razor Claw, Razor Fang, Scope Lens, and Stick are banned.
~Uber Pokémon are banned.
~Generation IV OU battle, 6 vs. 6, LV. 100 Single.
~Statistically legit hacks are allowed.
~Intentional disconnecting will result in disqualification.
~Report any broken rules; the person who broke a rule(s) will be disqualified.
~It's highly advised to have all methods of battling!
