Not from anywhere on the map. They can only blink a short distance. But if their mineral line was on the edge of a cliff, and you had your Stalkers below it, then if you can get sight up there you would be able to Blink up.

Whatever your Stalkers LOS would be (assuming nothing else is spotting for them) is the distance. If a Zealot can see up a ramp, Stalkers can only Blink as far as they normally could.

He said Colossi were imbalanced at Silver league. Its true. People don't know how to handle them half the time. The Terrans I played in Silver had no Vikings, no Corruptors from Zergs, and PvP is just whatever (insert Immortals/Colossi/Stalkers).

Colossi are far from imbalanced. If you don't know how to handle them, then you kinda suck. Looking into the unit automatically tells you get air units as Terran/Zerg.

And mass Stalkers is a decent strategy IF you have Blink and good micro. Once it gets to midgame, though, they become significantly bad as a strat. I know, because I tried going Blink Stalkers against a Zerg, only to get run over by them after finally realizing it wasn't going to work and attempting to tech switch to Colossi.

Hydras>Blink Stalkers. Nuff said.

Terran can counter Collossi easily, simply because of the dirt cheap, Reactored, 9 range Vikings. They can sit back safely from the Stalkers, and even if you get Blink the ground army will usually be able to take out enough of them to leave some Vikings in the air.

That doesn't mean they are overpowered, it means they are misused.

It's like saying Siege Tanks are overpowered in Bronze League becasue people run zerglings into them

So guys, looking to vastly improve my online Protoss play. Just a question, are warp gates that much superior to gateways? Because I see the pro's using them all the time, but I don't think I've used them once. Do they offer a tangible advantage that'll let me take advantage in Bronze league (yeah, I suck )?

Ah I see, so quite the advantage then. Probably why all the pro Protoss players do it lol.

I'll get on tonight and try it out, work with some new combinations.

Plus, funfact, all Warp Gates are automatically hotkeyed to w, so you only have to press that to select all of them. Makes warping in units so much faster to have them hotkeyed, and auto-hotkey is a nice bonus.
