I played it for a while and it's cool. But I can't see any evidence that there's "focus mode", you know, the slow-mo mode that makes it easier to trick and balance. It's really hard to balance on a grind now, the more you ollie on a grind the faster you go and it gets outta control pretty easy.
Is it really gone? I'm hoping I just haven't unlocked it yet or something.

It says somewhere in the tutorial videos in the game, that it has it, but I don't think it does. But the weirder thing is that you always have special. so I don't really know.

But it could be in the 360/PS3 versions like Nail-The-Manual, Mod the Environment, and Slash Grinds. but does the PS2 version have the Lounge and Video Editor. or is it 360/PS3 aswell

they aren't in there. just finished the game (except for a tiny bit of Rigger) and no Lounge or Video Editor

There IS focus. And it is not Nail the Trick/Grab. It is just real hard to activate. I've just done a few times.

Just borrowed THPG for the 360 from a Video Store and to activate Focus is Double Click the Left Stick. ATM I can't be bothered to try it on my own PS2, so can someone confirm it works for the PS2?

BTW, Video Editor is confusing

Not sure if it has it or not, I've really found no need for it unlike P8. If it's not in it, i think they more than made up for it with the new Nail the Grab feature.

To annswer the original question, yes there is focus. Double tap L3 and it goes all slow-mo. Hope this helps.
