	Hi Jason, You need to go to a circular patch of trees north of the Troia Village to get a Black Chocobo. This is the only way to get to the cave where the Dark Elf is. The whisperweed will allow you to attack and damage the Dark Elf. Without it, you would hit him for a lot of damage, and he eventually would cast Quake and kill your party. Forever. LOL

	(FYI...yes I'm the same person, forgot that I had an actual logon!) BTW...when you get the Black Chocobo, go due E, maybe even a little NE from the forest area, and you'll find the cave.

	okay, first off, this is still the same person that started the thread, second, how do I get the black chocobo? I went to the nursery, but idk how to get the black chocobo

	Head north of Troia and you'll see a small circular forest that's separated from the much larger one that covers most of the continent. Talk to the black chocobo that's roaming around there. Get equipment for your characters that isn't metallic (Yang's claws are an exception). Wearing such items will cause your characters to be paralyzed in every battle within the cave. You should also put Cecil in the back row. Without a metal sword, the damage he deals will be pitiful. For this dungeon, he's better off as a designated healer.
