Maybe some parts of it were apparitions that were part of your own consciousness and they were sort of like signs leading you to what you needed to do and as corny as this may sound what if you were seeing the shadow and then hearing the noises because you were meant to do something? 	i would like it if it were that, cos as you know some of the stuff has been pretty freaky! it makes sence to me cos ive been in this house for 3 years (since it was built) and i dont remember having hauntings or any weird happenings in the first 2 years so... you may be onto somehting there (youve once again opened my eyes!) ------------------- Step into the Paranormal

	Walking into the kitchen at 1am again for guess what, a drink! As I walk through the doorway I see a white but near transparant mass that was vaguely humanoid next to the back door which promptly vanished instantly. Didnt think much of it cause I had just been rubbing my eye.

I didn't see a smoking leg, but I definitely saw something. I was laying in bed and watching tv. A light was on in my room and my door was closed. There was no fan on or anything of the sort. All of a sudden I look up at the tv and next to it is a cloud of grey smoke just sort of floating and then after a few seconds it disappears into the air. I remember this because it was something definitely unexplainable. 	Just not too long ago, my mom thought she seen a shadow in one of the rooms. I didn't witness myself, but she told me about it. It could have just been her illusions though. -------------------

	A lot of "shadow beings" are just tricks our minds play on us when we're either tired, the lighting is just right, certain magnetic levels exists, and a bunch of other circumstances. Rarely is it actually a real shadow moving about. If it happens persistently in the area, however, then it's less likely to be a mind trick. I've never encountered a shadow being in my home. 	An episode of "Are you afraid of the dark?" Had these "joke" glasses that made anyone wearing them see these creepy shadow people, especially in the dark. No matter how many times she threw that glasses away they kept reappearing, like in her backpack. It made me afraid of the dark, cause I thought they could be hiding in the shadows. I also wear prescription glasses to see. -------------------
