	Log in to remove this sponsored message I happened to be out with a group of friends the other day and out of the blue my friend shared something with me that he found on his phone. He let me read the article and it just sort of stunned me. Never in my entire life had I thought what I read would actually be a possiblity one day, and it just might be. What I read about was in the near future, technology will become so advanced that it will be possible to download your entire brain into a computer. quote Ian Pearson, head of British Telecom's futurology unit, told the UK's Observer newspaper that the rapid advances in computing power would make cyber-immortality a reality within 50 years. That isn't all though, I also read this quote By 2020 Pearson also predicted the creation of a "virtual world" of immersive computer-generated environments in which we will spend increasing amounts of time, socializing and doing business. What do you think about this? Would you want to have your entire brain recorded into a computer? Could it possibly change the immortality of humans and life entirely? Is this the right thing to do? I read that by 2014 there would be an implant allowing direct download to the brain, but I don't think they would ever release it. 	Nice. So, servers would contain the data of every US citizen's brain. What if somebody hacked it? Hacked it and read data from a very important brain such as the President or CIA/FBI officials? 	You all should read Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan. In the series it shows what life could be like if we do reach this point in technology. At least life insurance would have more of a point.
