Ugh, this is dumb.

On paper, such a thing as playstation home sounds alright. The PS3 had rather lackluster player to player activity in comparison to its counterpart the 360 (Not trying to start a console battle, but really.), and a whole environment committed to players getting together for starting games or just playing with home itself sounded brilliant.

My prime issue with home is that put quite simply it doesn't seem to have a point. It hasn't progressed past beta in literal years and doesn't show any signs of advancement aside from goofy holiday things that require redownloads of the same area 50 times.

But all this could be put behind it if not for the most defining flaw of everything being overpriced in relation to use. They expect me to spent 6 dollars just so my avatar can walk alone through the halls of some absurdly designed virtual home? No way.

I could see if say, houses were a dollar and clothes were 10 cents. That'd be fair and good because in all honesty these things must cost nothing to make on sony's part, and as such they'd make a small profit while not confusing and or upsetting their player base.

I dont feel like dropping actual money in any great amount for the sake of playing babies first interior designer.

Yeah me too. I went on the PS Home for about 10 mins when I first got my PSN account then I went onto the home again 3-4 months later and nothing had changed.

I don't think this is true, updates to PShome are added every week (every Thursday I believe) with new items and sometimes new spaces coming available. 10 minutes is hardly enough time to know whether things have changed or not.

I honestly don't think PShome is too bad, even some players are really annoying

I checked it a few days ago. Some things had changed, but not at all much. And none of the added spaces seemed to interest me.

Not even the Bomberman game? I loved that!

I only went on it at first out of curiosity. But, I started chatting, met some interesting people, and tehn realized they weren't that interesting in the long haul. Of all the players I Friended from PS HOME, only 1 do I actually talk to and play RDR with.

Things could be looking up since HOME is getting a redesign, but I doubt it will improve the experience by much. I hope so. Socializing is great in any format(real world or virtual), but there needs to be a point to HOME.

True. It gettings boring as Hell wandering around looking for people to talk to. And usually when you find someone you waste time talking about rubbish.
