I have yet to beat this game, but so far, I like the previous game better.

Let's see...they are both great games and similar in many ways, so I only list things that I especially liked/disliked.

JFA:

+ The final chapter is such a psychological thriller.
+ Frannie's whip
- ...which gets overused, though.
- Too many cameos from the previous game.
- Um...the cape in the circus case. X_x

T&T:

+ I like all the chapters equally! The whole game feels more "solid", no obvious filler cases.
+ Godot is quite interesting as a prosecutor and as a character as well, me thinks.
+ I...almost felt like crying at some points. Games usually don't affect me like that.
+ Music-wise, Godot's Theme and Dahlia's Theme.
- It's the last game in the Phoenix Wright trilogy. ;_;

...so I like T&T more. It's even on my Top 10 videogames list. ^^

How can Trials and Tribulations be the last in the PW Series? You start off being Mia and actually question PW about Dougs death, and you learn the PW wants to become a lawyer from his girlfriend Dahlia..

Where as in PW Ace Attorney.. u start with PW with Mia as your mentor.. meaning this is the 2nd in the series.

Also, check the release dates: JFA was released before TaT.

As for the no filler thing, I sort of felt that number case 3-4 (Turnabout Beginnings) was somewhat of a filler since the outcome of it was told to you in 3-1. Yes, it does take place in part of 3-5 for those that are wondering.

Trials and Tribulations is the best PW game. Although you need to play the prevous games to understand some of the things that happen in TaT.
