I've went through the game on hard and expert, even five stared most of the songs. Why the **** can't I beat that ***hole Lou. I don't even think its possible, half the time he uses his battle power things when your's are coming up making it impossibe to even get your power ups. And when I do manage to get a power up it dosen't even seem to effect him, once I broke his string and actually stopped playing just so I could see how long it took for him to fix it, he might have missed two notes... ...thats just plan old BS

I\'m playing through it on normal and can\'t seem to beat him... i guess he\'s just a piece of sh!t that wasn\'t thought on hard enough before being placed in the game... i would\'ve much rather had a real character like carlos santana or someone like that rather than this douchebag.

He's very easy, and if you're having a major problem, do the tricky method- make sure you hit your first power-up and if it's a whammy power-up- you're in luck. After you go back to playing the bass part, Lou goes into a fast string of notes and if you use your whammy power-up, he fails almost instantaneously.

Or, (and this is what I do on all bosses, all difficulties)
Just wait out the battle, stacking your powerups, and then when your part is done at the songs end, and the boss goes into their victory solo, pummel them with powerups. | |

Hmm, well I personally am good at adapting to his attakcs. The only one that really hinders me is the whammy, but I fix that quick. I even go as far as to flip the guitar when I get lefty'd.
But then again, I've never tried it on expert, so... yeah. | |

If im not mistaken, for Tom Morello and Slash, you had to pummel them into the red to win. But for Lou, all you have to do is play through the song, then even if hes in the green, you should go into your "Finish him off solo". This occured on my medium career. Odd.

I used the same technique that I used for all the others (use powerups at the end) and I seemed to beat him fine. When are you losing?

I don't see how you can even get to the end. I think that would be harder than actually beating him. If I don't get the whammy as my first power-up, I just start over, it's not worth trying after that.

It is a lot harder than beating him, believe me. He pummels you with like, 2 power-ups per solo and it's just mayhem. It does require a bit of luck, but doesn't all of battle mode?
It's manageable. It's just really hard. | |
